Electronic warfare(EW)is the key to modern war.Taking control of electromagnetic spectrum leads to victory of warfare.In multiple local conflicts,the one with mastery of electromagnetic spectrum occupies a dominant position.Electronic jamming technology is valued and developed,due to transmitting electronic jamming to suppress radars owing to enemy is one of significant missions of EW.Traditional equipment with analogue system transmits single beam,jams targets with simple signal style.Analog beam forming technology is developed for advantage of multiple target jamming,despite of feature of transmitting fixed beam and poor adaptability.With the rapid development of digital technology,digital beam forming technology with advanced signal processing algorithm is promoted to adapting complex signals.Digital multi-beam forming technology meets the need of simultaneous multi-target jamming and is more suitable for complex battlefield.Delay lines and fibers are used for time delay in present digital multi-beam forming technology,with disadvantages of sensitivity to environments and narrow spectrum band.Radars are developed rapidly with wide band signal technology,making narrow-band digital multi-beam forming technology are hard to adapting to novel radars.Multi-beam transmitting technology based on fractional delay is emphasized and studied to meeting wide-band multi-beam jamming needs.Fractional delay which divides time delay into fractional interval gets popular for characters of variable parameters.This dissertation conducts research on multi-beam transmitting technology based on fractional delay and completes design of multi-beam transmitting network with simulation.The theory of digital multi-beam forming with LaGrange interpolation method and Farrow structure is studied to complete overall design of wide-band digital multi-beam forming network printed board.The network is proved to meeting requirements by simulation test.
