Modern warfare, not only with its form but also in meaning, has changed immensely profited from application of up-to-now electronic technologies in the military field. Since then the position of Electronic Warfare (EW) becomes more important. And consequentially, its operation will be more extensive.From point of view on the position and operation of modern Electronic Warfare (EW) in battlefield, in this paper, shortage of radar EW reconnaissance, especially to radar system e.g. phased array antenna radar and with respect of receiving technique and signal processing. Furthermore, new EW technology, concretely radar EW reconnaissance has been researched and comprehensive analysis to signal processing arithmetic has been performed.Aim at the goal to upgrade signal interception and recognition ability to the LPI radar, as a result, it is undoubtedly point out that radar EW reconnaissance must focus on various Low Probability Interception (LPI) radars with features of low observability signal. At the meantime, attention is given to develop other countermeasures to boost the integrative EW ability of the PLA to win the war of high technology conditions in the future. |
