Research On Narrative Display Of History Museum

The exhibition of museum is an important channel for museum to communicate society and realize its social value.The research of museum curatorial idea and exhibition method is an important subject of museology.Since the 21 st century,with the continuous improvement of the cognitive level of the group,the museum's curatorial concept has undergone a "from object to person" transformation.The museum's curatorial idea,curatorial method and display strategy are more and more deeply studied,and the research scope of museology is developing in the direction of interdisciplinary.Under the background of emphasizing people-oriented,museums respect the needs of the audience and explore diversified display strategies to maximize their own social value.Since the 1980 s,the research scope of post-classical narratology has been expanding,and museums,as non-text media,have also been included in the scope of narrative works.In the practice of exhibition,many museums are trying to use “physical language” to construct “narrative display”,and have achieved good results.This paper introduces the theory and method of narratology into the field of museum curatorial exhibition.Firstly,it discusses the characteristics and types of narrative display,distinguishes between story and discourse,and analyzes the reading and communication mode of narrative display.Secondly,taking Liaoning Provincial Museum and Henan Museum as cases,based on the display outline,this paper analyzes the narrative plot and perspective,structure and grammar of its basic display in prehistoric period,and summarizes some methods and experiences.Finally,on the basis of extracting commonness,this paper summarizes the ways to improve the readability and readability of narrative display from the discourse level that affects the effect of narrative interpretation: flexible choice of narrative perspective,strengthening the guidance of exhibition line,paying attention to the construction of public archaeology in the museum,trying to restore multiple display forms and strengthening the narrator image.
