Nowadays,new type flat panel display technology is a hot research direction in display field,and silicon-based micro-display technology comes out on top.Monocrystalline silicon based display can effectively reduce the space occupation rate,improve the response speed and increase the lifetime of display device.With a volume only about 1 / 10 of that of ordinary OLED device.These advantages cause the Micro-display device become an ideal and convenient back-end display technology which can be widely used in military,civil and consumption electronic industry.The research on micro-display has a high commercial value in the time when circuits become more and more integrated.However,silicon based micro-display technology is still in the rising stage in China while the market of micro-display is mainly monopolized by Sony of Japan,e Magin of USA and other foreign enterprises.In light of this situation,author analyzed the photoelectric performance parameters of Organic Light-emitting Diode(OLED)and Quantum Dot Light-emitting Diode(QLED),and OLED device is selected as the pixel driven light-emitting element to design an effective and feasible pixel driving circuit of silicon-based micro-display device by using simulation modeling.Following research works are included in this dissertation:1)Study the performance of QLED device and optimize the performance with charge balance improvement by inserting an electron blocking layer and modifying hole injection layer.Ligand exchange on QDs has also done to trying to improve the charge mobility and to be used in orthogonal solvents for fully solution process fabrication.2)Setup an OLED equivalent circuit model by fitting and parameter modification.Compare the I-V characteristics with that of OLED device fabricated in our laboratory to verify the model.3)Use OLED as light-emitting device of the driving circuit simulation.A new pixel driving circuit is proposed,and the simulation model is established.Two feasible optimization schemes of pixel circuit including the introduction of switch protection tube and the introduction of multiple small storage capacitors are proposed to achieve the small current driving required for micro-display device,and improve the stability of light-emitting of OLED.At the same time,the pixel array is designed systematically.4)The data scanning model of pixel driving circuit using subfield scanning method is designed.
