The development of science and technology makes the Internet increasingly important in economic life.As the main carrier and main form of Internet information, multimedia has also been fully developed and applied. In this process, the multimedia transmission system constructed by means of multimedia transmission technology has also attracted much attention.Multimedia transmission systems are widely used in monitoring and controlling important places and remote areas. At present, common wireless multimedia transmissionsystems are mainly based on traditional network architectures such as mobile communication networks and wireless local area networks, which require basic network facilities. These architectures are generally inconvenient to install and expensive, and most of the equipment works in the 2.4GHz band, with poor wireless signal penetration capability, which is not suitable for applications in complex environments. In contrast, wireless Mesh network is a technology different from traditional network architecture. It combines the advantages of Ad Hoc and wireless local area network, and has the characteristics of self-organization,self-healing,multi-hop,etc.In this paper, the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal is downconverted, and a broadband wireless multimedia transmssion system based on IEEE 802.11s and operating at 400MHz is designed and implemented. The system is based on OpenWRT open source embedded operating system platform, and consists of a mobile central node station and 15 simple mobile stations to form an Ad Hoc network. It realizes independent wireless multimedia transmission in a complex environment, with high mobility and reliability, and has broad application prospects.
