The project is based on the tutor's scientific research project.This paper mainly focuses on the echo signal processing of THz(terahertz)radar imaging for indoor public safety monitoring.Nowadays,phased array THz indoor imaging radar system is one of the research hotspots.However,researching radar Echo signal processing method is the basis of developing phased array THz indoor imaging radar system.With the actual needs of the project,the research work carried out in this paper is as follows:1.The structure of terahertz radar system is discussed.On the basis of summarizing domestic and foreign literature,According to the project requirements,the composition of THz radar system is analyzed.By discussing the structure of conventional coherent radar,THz radar driven by single frequency source and dual frequency source,the transmitting and receiving signals of THz radar system are analyzed,and the main characteristics of terahertz radar echo signal are clarified.These works lay a foundation for the research of radar echo signal processing algorithm2.The application scenes of phased array THz indoor imaging radar system are analyzed.In order to explore the influence of surroundings on THz radar echo signal,the application scene of indoor imaging radar system is analyzed by taking airport terminal as an example.Some influencing factors,such as the obstacles which may interfere with radar echo signal,electromagnetic environment,and interference between the same type of terahertz radar system are analyzed.Then,the relationship between the working mode of THz band radar system and radar echo signal are studied.3.The echo processing algorithms for THz band radar system is designed.Based on the existing research results of the THz radar echo signal characteristics,the echo processing algorithms,including de-interleaving,pulse compression,interference perception,interference suppression,cancellation,occlusion,anti-co-frequency asynchrony,clutter processing,image preprocessing algorithms are designed.Some key algorithms such as main-lobe direct-wave cancellation,side-lobe cancellation,sidelobe occlusion and pulse pressure are explored in depth.4.The abrove radar echo signal processing algorithms are validated.In order to verify the feasibility and validity of the proposed algorithms,Matlab simulation software and C++language are used to implement the algorithms,and the field measured data are used as the data source to carry out simulation experiments.Especially,the main lobe cancellation,side lobe cancellation,sidelobe anonymity and pulse pressure algorithms are repeatedly validated.The simulation results show that the algorithm designed in this paper is effective and will lay a foundation for subsequent image processing.Through the above research,the expected purpose is basically achieved.The echo signal processing algorithm proposed in the thesis can effectively provide the basis for subsequent image processing.
