With the large-scale development of unlimited mobile broadband services in the world,the 5G era has quietly opened,and indoor coverage has evolved into a new battlefield of 5G.The design of indoor distribution system is a very important part of the construction of Indoor Coverage Engineering.This thesis first introduces the indoor distribution system and the indoor design software AIDP independently developed by China Mobile Design Institute,introduces the function modules of AIDP,and summarizes the related technologies used in the development process.Then,according to the actual needs of designers in 5G era,this thesis uses ObjectARX technology to realize the extended pico base station design scheme from the plan to the system diagram,and realizes the following multi-layer connection,level calculation,one key generation legend and other new functional modules.In addition,this thesis realizes the function of automatic antenna placement based on genetic algorithm.According to the different use scenarios,different layout methods can be selected,and factors such as device differential loss,feeder 100m loss,building wear loss are considered,which can be applied to different working frequency bands.And investigate the classical indoor propagation model ITU-R P.1238,the free space propagation model and the Keenan-Motley propagation model,the distance loss coefficient of ITU-R P.1238,it will change according to the indoor scene,so it is necessary to identify the indoor scene before using,which will affect the efficiency of the automatic antenna placement function.The free-space propagation model is suitable for the scene of line-of-sight transmission,which ignores the dielectric loss.In this thesis,we choose the Keenan-Motley propagation model to calculate the single-point field strength,explain the parameters of the model in detail,and deduce the shadow fading allowance based on the normal distribution method.In the process of antenna placement,it is necessary to calculate the field strength of each grid to get the coverage.If all the grid points under the possible antenna distribution are traversed,the computing resources are too large,and the running time of the program is too long.Therefore,this thesis optimizes this function based on the elite selection strategy and K-means plus plus algorithm,and obtains the improved automatic antenna placement function.In the 5G era,new digital indoor distribution system such as distributed pico base station and extended pico base station will be more widely used.Therefore,the automatic antenna placement function not only support the traditional indoor distribution,but also supports the location of distributed pico base station and extended pico base station.
