This paper is a study relate to electric capacitance tomography(ECT)based on sensor-fusion.The ECT is developed from Process Tomography(PT)technology, and the purpose is to reconstruct the medium distribution in the measured field based on the measured capacitance data and the corresponding image reconstruction algorithm.Because this method has the advantages of fast response speed, high security, economical equipment, and no interference to the measured space,it has been paid full attention by researchers at home and abroad, and is widely used in industrial practice. In industrial, the complexity of the measured space and the non-uniformity of the sensitive field often have a serious impact on image reconstruction, especially when the measured working-medium is three-dimensional(3D).In order to explore the effect of this phenomenon, the author in this paper uses a combination of theory and experiment. An image fusion method based on two sets of ECT sensor data was proposed. To fuse features to obtain a better reconstructed image, this method built a simulation model of a multi-capacitance sensor, and the reconstructed images calculated by this two sets of sensors, the planar sensor and the cylindrical sensor.Subsequently, this paper discusses the effect of the weight factors on the imaging results of the two sets of sensors during fusion. In algorithm research,a weight function related to the intensity of the sensitive field is further established, and compared with a fusion model that simply uses a constant weight factor directly on the image,it shows obvious advantages. The simulation results in this paper show that the image fusion method effectively retains the advantages of the two sets of sensors, makes up for the shortcomings of the two sets of sensors, and significantly improves the reconstruction quality. In addition, the weight factor of the sensor is improved to a function related to height, which can fully utilize the effective information of each group of sensors, further improve the imaging effect, and reduce the error of the reconstructed image.Through experiments in this paper,it can be verified that the method of image fusion can largely compensate for the shortcomings of the ECT technology caused by the unevenness of the sensitive field matrix. The method proposed in this paper is practical.
