Since the new century,women are entering the journalism industry on an unprecedented scale.The new social environment and media development have not only provided women with employment opportunities,but also brought them a certain degree of professional pressure.How do female journalists view the current occupational pressures;what occupational pressures are they facing;whether the occupational pressures in the traditional media era still exist;and in the new media era,where new technologies prevail,do they face more pressure from new technologies?.Exploration of these issues can show the current situation of female journalists' professional stress.This article takes young female journalists in Chengdu as research objects,and uses questionnaire surveys and interviews to study the occupational stress of this group.This article examines their occupational stress from five dimensions,including job characteristics,organizational structure,interpersonal relationships,social evaluation,and the impact of new technologies.In addition,occupational stress is the result of the combined force of various factors.This article combines the contents of in-depth interviews to further explore the factors that affect their occupational stress,and tries to find the underlying causes that affect their occupational stress.The study found that young female journalists in Chengdu generally have greater occupational pressure.On the one hand,the pressure in the traditional media era still exists.With the continuous change of the media environment,the pressure on young female journalists from new technologies is particularly obvious;on the other hand,objective physical differences and family division of labor require young women to Putting more time and energy into the family,this pressure will also run through their daily work.Occupational stress is the result of a combination of various factors.Changes in the media environment,the characteristics of the work itself,inadequate organizational support,and overloaded roles will all cause occupational stress to a certain extent.The author aims to allow more people to pay attention to the development of the media while paying more attention to the journalists who silently pay for journalism,especially the female groups that are easily overlooked.
