The video frame rate up-conversion algorithm is a classic problem of image and video processing.With the continuous development of this times,the video frame rate up-conversion algorithm has its wide application for various fields such as biomedicine,remote sensing imagery.The frame rate up-conversion algorithm is a technique for obtaining an interpolation frame by calculating a relationship between two consecutive frames,and then inserting the interpolated frame of the original two frames to increase the frame rate.In this paper,a video frame rate up-conversion algorithm based on phase reconstruction is designed by using the frequency domain of the image,which provides a new frequency domain image processing method for video frame rate up-conversion technology.The research is the following five sections:Firstly,study the working principle of frequency domain function interpolation and image pyramid,and determine the design idea of the algorithm.That is,the image is transformed from spatial domain to frequency domain,the phase parameters of the image are used to calculate the interpolation image.The algorithm steps are divided into image pyramid transformation,calculation of phase difference,calculation of interpolated image frequency domain parameters,and inverse transformation.Secondly,detailed design the image pyramid.Comparing the advantages and disadvantages of different image pyramids,the steerable pyramid is used as a bridge for the image to be converted from spatial domain to frequency domain.Thirdly,the algorithm design for calculating the phase difference and the frequency domain parameters of the interpolated image,and the image pyramid parameters and image similarity improvement algorithms are used.Fourth,compare and analyze the effects of the algorithm and various algorithms,and compare the running time of different algorithms.The experimental test results of the algorithm show that the effect and running speed of the algorithm are significantly improved compared with the traditional algorithm,which meets the requirements of frame rate improvement.Fifth,the algorithm is transplanted to the ARM platform,and the Raspberry Pi is used as the main control board to execute the algorithm.The content of the migration includes the construction of the hardware platform and the design of the software.Based on the above steps,this paper designs a video frame rate up-conversion algorithm based on phase reconstruction,and designs a low-cost portable high-speed camera using Raspberry Pi.It extends the application range of the frame rate up-conversion algorithm and has academic value and significance.
