Design And Implementation Of WLAN Terminal Maintenance Test Tool

With the development of mobile Internet,wireless local area network(WLAN)technology has been applied to more and more practical scenarios,and has gradually become an indispensable wireless communication means for mobile phones,routers and other terminal products,and even plays an increasingly important role in the field of smart home and aiot.Many WLAN terminal products compete fiercely.The maintenance and test tools for these products become the necessity for engineers to develop efficiently.In this paper,based on the research background of the national optoelectronic laboratory and a well-known wireless communication equipment manufacturer's industry university research cooperation project,based on the actual WLAN terminal products,combined with various functional requirements,the design and implementation of WLAN terminal maintenance testing tools are studied.The main contribution of this paper is based on the requirement of WLAN maintenance tools,and gives the design and implementation scheme on Linux system and windows system respectively,verifies some functions of the implementation,and tests the stability of the maintenance tools.The whole content is divided into three parts: First,based on the characteristics of the system platform,this paper introduces the WLAN Driver Technology and framework of Linux and windows respectively.The key technologies,such as driving I / O communication mechanism,are analyzed in detail,including IOCTL mechanism and nelink mechanism of Linux platform,and IRP communication of windows.The important interfaces involved in the framework,such as the open source tool WPA supplicant and the latest WLAN WDI architecture of windows,are discussed in detail.Secondly,based on the full investigation and analysis,combined with the actual needs,this paper gives the design and implementation scheme of WLAN maintenance tools on the two system platforms,and explains and demonstrates them in modules.Finally,the development of the maintenance tool is explained,some module functions are tested,and the improvement measures are put forward.This paper completes the design and implementation of WLAN maintenance tools,which is of great significance and application value for the development and practical application of next generation WLAN.
