Research On Technology Strategy Of Mobile Terminal Baseband Chip Based On Patent Analysis

Mobile terminal baseband chips are undergoing technological changes,and the 5G standard has not yet been finalized.Prior to this,the strategic layout of baseband chip technology is not only an investment in the next decade,but also a key time node to achieve domestic substitution and independent control of baseband chips.The evaluation angle of patent analysis is objective,which can present the technological evolution route and industry competition situation,promote the optimization of R ? D resource al ocation by relevant companies,and select a reasonable and effective offensive and defensive strategy.Through an overview of the empirical research status of patent analysis,in the current practice and achievements,there is still a lack of a more complete analysis of the mobile terminal baseband chip technology.This article starts from the technical requirements,market share and incentive policies of mobile terminal baseband chips,and finds the opportunities and problems ushered in the domestic baseband chip industry.Based on the Innography patent search platform,the patent data is obtained and the baseband chip technology is identified.The various development periods that have been experienced and thus used to predict the possible future direction.Analyzed the current competition situation faced by domestic baseband chip companies from the perspectives of application regional distribution,main technical fields and patent activity subjects,and clarified the main chal enges to be faced.Combined with Ucinet software,the patent network analysis was carried out,and the importance degree and concentration trend of mobile terminal baseband chips in different technical fields were quantitatively studied.According to the results of text clustering and the summary of scientific literature,different technical categories are divided and key technical points are judged.Based on the research results,the overall technology strategy that the mobile terminal baseband chip industry and enterprises need to improve is finally summarized.Combining SWOT analysis for detailed investigation of related factors,from the perspective of technology leading,technology potential and technology imitating companies,respectively put forward suggestions on patent layout models to support the realization of technology strategic goals.
