Research On The Influencing Factors Of Avatar Identification In Virtual Social Interaction

The current development of Internet technology is changing rapidly,and the deep integration of VR,AR,3D and other technologies with the Internet is becoming more and more common.Under this background,virtual social interaction is gradually emerging.Virtual social interaction is a new form of social interaction which is supported by technology with a more complete degree of virtualization on the basis of network social interaction,individuals are presented through a virtual anthropomorphic image and they use this anthropomorphic image to interact with other users in virtual social interaction.Virtual social interaction is an application form of the virtual world,which embodies the development of Internet technology and culture.Its influence is getting deeper and the potential value is increasingly prominent.This article focuses on virtual social interaction-a new social form of virtual socialization,investigates the importance and potential impact of virtual social interaction reshaping people's social behavior from the perspective of communication,and focuses on the phenomenon of avatar identification in virtual social interaction and its influencing factors,builds an avatar identification structure and influencing factors framework.This article first clarifies the concept and characteristics of virtual social interaction on the basis of combing relevant literature,and discusses the difference between it and online social interaction,which establishes a good theoretical basis for follow-up research.Second,combined with the existing avatar identification research and measurement scale to carry out empirical research,through SPSS25.0 software and AMOS22.0 software to analyze the data,formed a virtual social interaction based avatar identification structure and influencing factors framework,and made detailed analysis;Finally,the enhancement approaches of avatar identification and the potential value of virtual social interaction were discussed.The research mainly found the following findings:(1)Virtual social interaction is a new social interaction form,mainly based on young female users,fun and scene experience are the main purpose of use,which satisfies the social needs of users,makes up for the lack of social interaction in the real world,and reflects the media from a single symbol to a variety of digital symbols of the transition trend,user autonomy has been significantly improved;(2)virtual social avatar identification has a four-dimensional structure,each dimension is: avatar and self-perception,wishful identification,positive attitudes toward the avatar and embodied presence;(3)Influencing factors of virtual social avatar identification include three levels of individual,avatar and application functions.The individual level is individual ideal-real self discrepancy,including discrepancies in appearance,discrepancies in living environment,discrepancies in interpersonal relationships,discrepancies in overall evaluation,the avatar level is avatar customization,the application functions level including interactivity,sociality and scene setting.Research data shows that avatar customization has the greatest impact on avatar identification,and the discrepancies in interpersonal relationships have the least impact.In the future,virtual social applications should enhance avatar identification by enhancing the customization of avatars,strengthening core social functions,and providing expansion services,and at the same time innovate the "technology + culture" dual-line development model to better realize the value of virtual social interaction.This article's attention and analysis of virtual social interaction,and the four-dimensional structure and influencing factors framework of avatar identification obtained through empirical research have enriched the research results of virtual social interaction,expanded the research scope of avatar identification,and provided basic ideas and reference for subsequent related research.
