Prior work has shown that virtual avatar is an indispensable part in many applications,such as virtual clothing display,3D character animation,and games.The virtual avatar is an important embodiment of human being and It is the subject of other activities.When rebuilding virtual avatars,how to quickly create specific human models is the first problem.Compared with traditional methods,parametric human body modeling reduces the operation cost and improves the speed of model generation and modification.In addition,the creation of character costumes is also an important link in the reconstruction of virtual avatars.Most of the existing parametric human models are naked.Therefore,it is necessary to add a method of parametric editing of clothing to the existing human models to realize the reconstruction of virtual avatars.The dissertation mostly addressed the technology of parametric human modeling.which includes the two parts of semantic parametric human body modeling and clothing adaptive deformation.Our main method is divided into two steps.First,in order to achieve semantic parametric human body model,we establish the human shape space,and then map the human semantic parameters to the human shape space through linear regression.Secondly,for the clothing adaptation problem,we use a as rigid as possible algorithm to calculate the vertex transformation matrix of the human model with different semantic attributes,and then drive the clothing deformation by linear blending skinning.Moreover,we use dual quaternion blending skinning to improve the clothing adaptive algorithm,and compare the experimental results between linear blending skinning and dual quaternion blending skinning.Finally,in order to verify the feasibility of the above method,a dynamic 3D character clothing display system for ordinary users was developed on the Unity platform.This system allows users to view the dressing effect from arbitrary direction,and users can create personalized dynamic 3D character clothing display by modifying human model,clothing styles,and scene configurations in real-time interactive mode.
