Saturation attack have become an important attack in modern warfare.Because transmit resources of radar system are limited,it is significant to manage transmit resources efficiently for improving multi-target tracking capacity and performance of radar system.Cognitive radar,the trend of intelligentized radar,can sense and feedback the information of battlefield environment and target state to the transmitter to actively adjust working mode,resource allocation scheme,transmitted waveform and processing method of receiver,which can improve resource utilization and the adaptation of radar to target and environment.This thesis mainly researches the method and implementation of transmit resource management for cognitive radar in multi-target tracking.The main work is as follows:1.Research two classic target tracking algorithms: Kalman Filtering and Extended Kalman Filtering.Further,this thesis introduces a detailed derivation of Bayesian Cramér-Rao lower bound(BCRLB)which is the performance evaluation index of target tracking algorithms.At last,verify the feasibility of using BCRLB to manage radar resources by simulation.2.This thesis focuses on resource management methods which are applicable to different radar system and operating modes:(1)For the single-beam radar,this thesis researches a method of allocating target dwell time.The traditional method averagely allocates the limited dwell time to each target without considering difference of target state.The traditional method is easy whereas can't obtain the optimal tracking performance.Based on the prior information of target state,this thesis constructs a cost function using the BCRLB of target tracking and solves it to obtain an optimized target dwell time.(2)For the multi-beam radar,based on the packing algorithm,this thesis researches a joint allocation method of beam,revisit time and power.This method manages the target revisit time by comparing the predictable BCRLB with the expected tracking accuracy to determine targets irradiated at this moment,determines beam-pointing by using the packing algorithm and optimizes transmit power by minimizing the BCRLB of the worst target in the group.This method can not only ensure the tracking performance of radar,but also save radar resources.(3)For Track and Scan radar,the search beam of radar usually searches the airspace in the order of wave position periodically,and there are echoes of the detected targets in searching stage.Therefore,this thesis uses the echo data in searching stage to update state of detected targets in tracking stage.Based on the above,this thesis introduce two resource management methods,which can reduce the revisit time of targets to improve target tracking performance and save radar resources.3.Under the environment of Visual Studio 2013,this thesis use C language to implement the resource management method in engineering application.Introduce the key points appeared in the above process:(1)data storage;(2)the definition of data structure;(3)accelerating matrix computing.In addition,this thesis add resource management module to cognitive radar system for joint simulation to verify the reliability of the resource management method.
