The turntable is a kind of mechatronics equipment integrating electric,mechanical and computer subject.It plays an important role in the research of high-tech fields such as radar servo control systems,aircraft pan tiltcamera and pods.The development of high-precision turntable control systems has great significance to the development of advanced science and national industry.This article discusses the research background of the turntable system and its research status,and introduces some effective control algorithms for the turntable.According to the control requirements of the turntable,the hardware system and software system of the single-axis turntable are designed,the control algorithm of the turntable control system and the visual operation interface are also achieved by programming.The hardware part mainly adopts the modular design concept,including the main control chip and slave chip.The latter chip can share the tasks of the main control chip to improve the turntable control performance.The hardware part also adopts dual-port RAM as a bridge between the upper and lower computers to achieve parallel communication.The visual operating interface of the upper computer was written by VC ++ 6.0,and Keil u Vision5 was used to complete the single-axis turntable control algorithm.For the control algorithm of the single-axis turntable system,this paper introduces the basic principles and design methods of traditional PID control algorithm and variable universe fuzzy PID control algorithm in detail.Using MATLAB / SIMULINK tools,combined with the mathematical model of the single-axis turntable,the two different controller are designed to control the single-axis turntable under no-load,load,and interference conditions.The performance of tracking different frequencies sinusoidal signals also tested in this paper with the two different control algorithms.By analyzing the simulation results,it shows that the PID control algorithm and the latter control algorithm of the turntable system can both achieve good control performance for the single-axis turntable system,and the variable universe fuzzy PID controller has better control performance.The centrifugal test system with a single-axis turntable as the core is the research object of this paper.The two control algorithms are both applied to control this single-axis turntable the control results shows that the PID control algorithm can basically meet the position control requirements of this system,and the accuracy of position control is within 20 ?,but the tracking error can not meet the requirement when tracking a high frequency sinusoidal signal.Compared with the PID control algorithm,the variable universe fuzzy PID control algorithm has faster response and higher control accuracy and the tracking of sinusoidal signals can fully meet the control requirements,so its control performance is better.
