Chinese Metaphor Interpretation Research Based On Associative Semantic Web

Metaphor has been widely existed in people's life,and has become a way for people to think and understand the world.The development of cognitive science in the 1980s has deepened the research on the cognitive characteristics of metaphor.A large number of models related to the task of metaphor interpretation have also emerged.However,in recent years,due to the difficulties of metaphor interpretation,the relevant research on metaphor interpretation is less than that on metaphor detection.Therefore,it is very important to analyze the task characteristics of metaphor interpretation and study the corresponding solutions.Based on the theories of cognitive metaphor and linguistics,this paper makes an in-depth study of the characteristics and understanding process of Chinese metaphor,and makes a concrete analysis according to the difficulties of Chinese metaphor interpretation.First of all,we think that culture is the most prominent and urgent problem in Chinese metaphor.Based on the theory of cultural semantics,this paper takes association as a bridge between culture and metaphor,and constructs association semantic network to cope with the cultural problems in the process of Chinese metaphor interpretation.The associative semantic web is divided into two parts:adjective semantic web and verb semantic web.Synonym forest is used as the core part of vocabulary expansion.Abstract degree is introduced into adjective semantic web to describe the association process of words,while verb semantic web innovatively introduces verb schema to describe the logical structure and semantic information of verbs.Finally,the visual presentation is carried out through neo4j graphic database.From the perspective of similarity,we divide the similarity in the process of Chinese metaphor interpretation into feature similarity and relation similarity,and then divide the metaphorical sentences.The similarity algorithm based on adjective web and verb web is used to realize the automatic understanding of different types of Chinese metaphorical sentences.In the process of automatic understanding,we use cognitive default logic to infer credible understanding results for metaphorical sentences which are difficult to obtain understanding results due to the lack of information.To sum up,this paper classifies Chinese metaphorical sentence s according to the characteristics of metaphorical similarity.At the same time,the association semantic web is used to classify and automatically understand different types of Chinese metaphors.Finally,for the Chinese metaphorical sentences without information,we use cognitive default logic to infer the understanding results.The experimental results show that this method is effective.
