Research On Robot News Writing From The Perspective Of Narratology

Since the emergence of robotic news writing,it has been a hot topic in the industry and academic circles.Robot news writing is an innovation of the traditional news production mode,and it is a news production mode produced by the combination of news reports and artificial intelligence technology.Robotic news writing has changed the main body of news production: the production subject has changed from "human" to "robot";subverted the traditional news production process: from the traditional editing process to data mining and analysis;increased the speed of news production: automatic generation The speed of a news report can be measured in seconds.The rapid development of robotic news writing has sparked two hot discussions: First,robot news writing will replace human reporters in the future;second,robot news writing is a product of the technology boom,and the technology boom will disappear.In this regard,this article will use the case study method to write Tencent Dreamwriter robot news as the research object,through the narrative analysis method,from the narrator,narrative structure and narrative perspective to the specific analysis of robot news writing,at the same time through The comparative analysis of the news reports of robot news writing and the same type of news reports written by human reporters summarizes the characteristics of news narratives.On this basis,it explores the future direction of robot news writing.First of all,the introduction part of this paper discusses the research background,research significance and research issues of this paper.It points out that the main research questions of this paper are: First,the background of robot news writing;Second,the narrative characteristics of robot news writing;Third,robot The narrative limitations of news writing and its influencing factors;Fourth,to explore whether the future of robotic news writing will replace people(Chapter 1).Then,it is clarified that the essence of robot news writing is to disseminate and process data based on computer algorithm program for the purpose of disseminating news facts,and then automatically generate readable text content based on artificial intelligence technology,and introduce its time-effect report and objectivity.Strong,low production cost,templated writing content,high barriers to entry,and analysis of the technical background,media background and audience background from the macro level,and the introduction of robot news production process(Chapter 2).Then,based on the narrative theory,it analyzes its narrative behavior from the perspective of news narrator,news narrative structure and news narrative:1.It points out that its narrative theme is mainly based on financial and sports reports.2.Think that its implicit narrator is the entire team behind the robotic news writing technology,and the audience that gradually gains initiative in the narrative process;the explicit narrators are usually news parties and news related people.3.The narrative structure of the same type of news reports has fixed characteristics.At the same time,compared with the same type of news reports written by human reporters,the narrative structure is not obvious,but the robotic news writing is weak in detail narrative.4.The narrative perspective is relatively simple.The main narrative perspective is purely objective narrative perspective.The macroeconomic report in financial reports uses the perspective of character limitation,and basically does not use the omnipotent perspective and the composite perspective(Chapter 3).Then,the narrative limitations of robot news writing and its influencing factors are summarized.It is pointed out that the lack of subjective consciousness leads to limited narrative theme,the default writing template leads to one-sided narrative of news narrator,the narrative structure is fixed,and the interactive narrative is weak.Logical chaos and a single narrative perspective lead to a lack of depth and temperature in the news(Chapter 4).Finally,the narrative reflection and future direction of robot news writing are discussed.According to the narrative analysis results of robot news writing,it reflects on the three aspects of news authenticity,news value and news ethics,pointing out that robotic news writing will not completely replace people,but Will take the road of "human-machine synergy"(Chapter 5).
