The Research Of Project Management Strategy Of Software Outsourcing Company G

The software outsourcing industry grew rapidly in last two decades in China.But with the demographic dividend comes to an end in China,those Chinese software outsourcing companies now are facing more and more problems in project management area.Compare with traditional software production development projects,project management places a more important role in the whole life cycle of software outsourcing projects,which may lead the project to a success or a disaster and therefore determine the result of a firm's vicissitude.The main purpose of this thesis is to define the problems and difficulties in project management of outsourcing software projects through research on project management strategy of a typical outsourcing company,company G.This thesis is divied into 8 chapters.In the 1^st chapter we introduce the history of software industry and describe the target and importance of this research.In the 2^nd chapter research results of software project management in past years is listed.In the 3^rd chapter we introduce the background of company G,and describe the main problem of the firm is the decreasing in project profit and customer satisfaction.And the root cause of those problems is mis-estimation in project scope,unsuitable selection in financial monitoring dimensions,and improper usage of subcontractor suppliers.In the4^th chapter ANOVA modeling method is used to build a new estimation formula.In the 5^th chapter we describe financial monitoring dimensions during software development life-cycle and raises main requirements for company G to choose new KPI.In the 6^th chapter we use AHP method to analyze the process of choosing subcontractor suppliers.Base on the analysis above,in the 7^th chapter some suggestions for company G are given out.And final chapter is for the conclusion and expectation for the future of company G.
