LoRa technology stands out among many LPWAN technologies due to its low power consumption,low cost and long distance transmission.LoRa technology has become one of the mainstream technologies of the Internet of things.In recent years,the IOT applications using LoRa communication technology are emerging one after another.These applications either use custom networking protocol or adopt the recommended LoRaWAN protocol specification in the network layer.Unfortunately,there are some problems in custom networking protocols,such as small channel capacity and poor transmission stability,so its practical application field is limited.Many researchers focus on improving the communication performance of LoRa or exploring its application value,while ignore the study of network construction based on LoRaWAN protocol.In addition,LoRa gateways and servers still have problems such as small capacity,poor security and long response time in the existing researches.Therefore,this thesis proposes a LoRa network construction scheme based on LoRaWAN protocol specification to solve the above problems.The system architecture,the gateway and server-side software are designed based on the LoRaWAN protocol.This thesis designs a 4G network LoRaWAN gateway based on the standard LoRaWAN gateway to solve the problem of difficult Ethernet access in remote areas.And a low-cost integrated LoRaWAN system with extension interfaces and data security is also proposed to meet the needs of low-cost application scenarios.The main contributions and results of this thesis are as follows:(1)The RF circuit and the network access mode of LoRaWAN gateway are designed.The RF circuit of gateway is optimized through theoretical analysis and PCB board's making.In order to make the gateway work stably for a long time,an anomaly detection method is proposed.During the 18-months test,the gateways were running stably.(2)This thesis proposes the system architecture of LoRa network based on LoRaWAN protocol specification.LoRaWAN gateway software and LoRaWAN server software are implemented in this system.(3)Aiming at the problems of high cost of LoRaWAN independent server deployment and the difficulty of server maintenance,an integrated LoRaWAN system was proposed.The integration of LoRaWAN system makes gateway and server integrated in the same embedded system.This thesis optimized the database of integrated LoRaWAN system.The master-slave gateway database hot-standby method and database load balancing technology are adopted to improve the response speed of the integrated LoRaWAN system.The security of disaster recovery database is also improved after optimizing.The LoRaWAN system designed in this thesis has been deployed in several teaching buildings of Central China Normal University.The stability test was carried out over 18 months.And the results proved that the stability and reliability of data transmission and communication distance of the system can meet the needs of practical application.
