Research On The Business Scope And Competitiveness Evaluation Of Archival Business Listed Enterprises

Archival business enterprises have been growing and thriving in China since the 1990s.During the past three decades,China's archival business enterprises have evolved in terms of size,popularity and standardization.The range of services they provide has also become more diversrd.Successful archival business companies have been listed on the Main Board,the Second Board,and the New OTC Market,looking for a faster and better growth path in the capital market.The continuous growth of the capital market has provided the archival business enterprises with great opportunities,but also immense challenges:this means that the market environment will escalate in complexity and competition among enterprises will become increasingly fierce.Therefore,the archival business enterprises can only survive and flourish in the long run by continuously improving their key strength and enhancing their competitiveness.Listed companies in various industries play the role of a vane for the development of the industry itself.The archival business industry is no exception.Among the various organizations that provide archival business services,listed archival business enterprises are undoubtedly in the leading position of all archival business companies,and are truly the "forerunners"in industry.Therefore,this paper starts from the related concepts and theoretical foundations on the competitiveness of archival business enterprises,including the definition of corporate competitiveness,archival business enterprises and competitiveness of archival business enterprises.Enterprise competitiveness theory and evaluation theory are also covered.Based on the relevant data in 2017,the competitiveness of listed companies in the archival business was evaluated and analyzed in terms of four aspects:asset size,profitability,operational capability and growth capability.On such basis,the dynamic characteristics of the competitiveness of enterprises is also taken into account,and data from 2015 and 2016 is additionally collected to conduct a dynamic analysis on the competitiveness of listed companies in the archival business.In order to objectively and comprehensively understand the competitiveness level of listed companies in the archival business in an open market,data on listed companies in the publishing industry is brought in as samples in competitiveness evaluation to allow close comparison with listed companies in the archival business.Finally,combined with the previous analysis,this paper proposes countermeasures to improve the competitiveness of archival business enterprises from both internal and external aspects.
