Digital circuit design based on FPGA design is a common method of the current design of the radar.Using FPGA IP cores and user-defined circuit,then mapping the Radar-algorithm to the calculate engine can greatly improve the system flexibility and reduce response time as well as shorten design cycles and reduce the development cost.This paper gives three kinds of circuit architectures that can accomplish specific functions.This paper illustrates each circuit from three aspects,algorithm functions,performance requirements,and calculation methods,and introduces related parameters.All three circuit modules use appropriate circuit configurations and optimization algorithms to satisfy part A's requirements.This paper primarily introduces three kinds of arithmetic functions in Part A's system.They are GIP sample pick module,X data selection Module and Y data selection module.First,for GIP sample pick module,based on part A's functional requirements and resource constraints,an odd-even circuit and a new comparison algorithm has been designed.The circuit and algorithm are the core design in GIP sample pick module,and also set the parallelism as four to accomplish max-pick and min-pick.This circuit architecture takes advantage of FPGA resources and reduces calculating time.X data selection module uses logic circuit to accomplish data picking.The module can pick one 64bit data set from eight 64bit data sets and send selected data sets to FIFO.The most important thing of the module is zero-padding operation.Y data selection module is similar to X data selection module.All two modules can meet part A's requirements.At last,this paper introduces three verification methods:functional simulation,hardware and software co-verification,and performance verification.Based on the verification data,this paper also analyzes verification results.The circuit modules are based on FPGA in this paper.They solve three arithmetic functions of part A's system,especially the GIP sample pick module.According to the verification data,the GIP sample pick module has following functional advantages:1.an odd-even circuit architecture has been proposed;2.a comparison algorithm which can mask the extreme values;3.the module's calculating time is 600us when the number of verification samples is 1024;4.the module can work at the 200MHZ frequency.
