Chemistry is an experiment-based discipline.Experiments have irreplaceable roles in the acquisition of chemistry knowledge and cultivation of chemical disciplines."Ordinary High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard" attaches great importance to the auxiliary role of experiments in the teaching process.The experiments that students have been clearly listed in each subjects,and the "Experimental Chemistry" have also been separately rendered as an elective series.In2019,the Ministry of Education promulgated the "Opinions on Strengthening and Improving Experimental Teaching in Primary and Secondary Schools".In the article,the Ministry of education said that for some experiments that can't be carried out,we should innovate experimental methods,combine the latest technical means with experiments,present experimental phenomena and improve the interest and attraction of teaching.To introduce the application effect of infrared thermal imaging technology in secondary school chemistry teaching.This study was conducted from the following three aspects: Firstly,the application of infrared thermal imaging technology at home and abroad is sorted out by using the literature method,and the relevant core concepts and theories are summarized and elaborated.Secondly,design and develop the experimental techniques and methods based on infrared thermal imaging.Infrared thermal imaging experiments are used as a new type of experiment,the design principles,the types of experimental materials(experience,verification,exploration type)the application strategies of various experiments in teaching,the experimental design process and the selection experimental instruments have also studied.Thirdly,the experimental materials on the properties of sodium and its compounds were studied as an example,and the results after practice were quantitatively characterized by test questions and questionnaires to characterize the application effects and shortcomings of infrared thermal imaging experimental materials in the teaching process of secondary schools.Experimental studies have shown that most of the research on the application of infrared thermal imaging techniques in production,life,and disciplines in various disciplines,systematically combine infrared thermal imaging technology and secondary chemistry experiments and applied to middle school chemistry teaching practical research.Design and develop an experimental material based on infrared thermal imaging technology and apply it into the classroom,to provide a new method for temperature measurement,a new direction for middle school chemistry teaching,a novel material for teachers' teaching,In addition,there is a certain promotion role in improving students 'instant learning effects,knowledge remaining rates,and has a positive role in enhancing students' interest,attitude,method,etc..
