The new curriculum reform is a new requirement for human development,which is a new requirement for front-line teaching,so it is urgent to improve the existing teaching problems.The BOPPPS teaching model is a student-oriented,goal-oriented,participation-oriented and feedback-oriented model which can help to implement the new chemistry curriculum in high school.This study explores the teaching strategies of the BOPPPS teaching model in relation to existing chemistry teaching problems,and presents examples of teaching designs.It also explores the impact of the BOPPPS teaching model on high school chemistry teaching in the context of practical application.Details of the study are as follows.Part I: To clarify the background of the study and to determine the design and practice research of high school chemistry teaching based on the BOPPPS teaching model.To clarify the objective and the meaning of the study from three aspects:classroom reform,teachers' pedagogy and students' academic learning,to clarify the content,methods and ideas of the study,to sort out the relevant literature at home and abroad,and to pave the way for the subsequent study.Part ?: Define the core concepts,deeply explore the inner meaning of the BOPPPS teaching model and analyze its outstanding features;sort out the relevant theories of the model to lay a solid theoretical basis for the project.Part ?: By investigating the factual situation of high school chemistry classroom teaching,we have identified problems such as difficulties in carrying out the links in teachers' chemistry teaching and problems such as insufficient class participation in students' chemistry learning.In turn,we explored specific implementation strategies for the identified problems in relation to the various aspects of the BOPPPS teaching model.Part ?: Development of instructional design.A case presentation is made with the classification of chemical knowledge,including four major types of chemical conceptual knowledge,chemical principle knowledge,elemental compound knowledge,and chemical experimental knowledge,in order to present the BOPPPS teaching model and the application of its link teaching strategies.Part V: Conducting practical research.Based on the teaching experiment,combined with interviews to understand teachers' and students' experiences of using the BOPPPS teaching mode,and to collect teachers' and students' suggestions for optimizing the BOPPPS teaching mode and the teaching strategies of the session;at the same time,by analyzing students' classroom participation,chemistry learning status and chemistry performance before and after the experiment,we discussed and concluded that the BOPPPS teaching mode is quite effective in enhancing students' participation in class,optimizing students' chemistry learning status,and It is also discussed that the BOPPPS teaching model is quite effective in enhancing students' participation in class,optimizing their learning status in chemistry,and improving their chemistry performance.Theoretical research and implementation show that the BOPPPS teaching model is scientific,feasible and effective.It is effective in helping the implementation of the new curriculum,helping teachers to optimize classroom teaching,and promoting students' participation in their studies.It is expected that this paper will be useful to the front-line chemistry teachers.
