Quality education emphasizes promoting the all-round development of students,so that students' potential in all aspects can be effectively brought into play.In the process of teaching,teachers should not only pay attention to the transmission of basic scientific knowledge and basic skills,but also develop students' intelligence and cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical ability.The Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017Edition,2020 Revision),(contextual referred to as New Curriculum Curriculum Standards)shows that educators should respect the regular pattern of physical and mental development levels of students,using modern information technology effectively,and explore new teaching methods,resources,and innovative teaching methods.As a new teaching resource,mind map is widely popular in the field of education with the advantages of divergence,innovation and intuition.Applying it to the teaching of ideological and political class has great effects on innovative teaching methods and cultivating students' thinking quality.Important role,inline with the requirements of the new curriculum reform.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,main body and conclusion.The introduction part expounds the research background and research significance of the application of mind map in the teaching of ideological and political courses in senior high school,and explains the research status,research ideas and methods at home and abroad,as well as the innovation of the paper.The main body include the following three aspects: First portion elaborates the connotation of mind map.Then defining the connotation of the mind map and introducing theoretical basis for research,the application of the mind map is carried out.In teaching,to improve teaching quality and increase interest in learning,reducing students' learning burden and improving students' thinking ability.The second part adopts the questionnaire survey method and observation research method,and summarizes the following problems in the application it in teaching: teachers and students pay less attention to mind maps,the way of drawing mind maps is single,and the lack of the reasons for giving full play to the teaching effect of mind maps are mainly because of the bondage of traditional teaching philosophy and the lack of ability to draw mind maps,and the difficulty in controlling the timing of applying mind maps.The third part aims at the question and reason of utilizing mind maps in teaching,and put forward the following countermeasures: first,it is necessary to strengthen teachers and students' understanding of mind maps and increase their attention;second,improve the ability to draw mind maps,emphasize the richness of mind maps;finally,apply mind maps to specific teaching content to enhance the effectiveness of applied mind maps.The conclusion part summarizes the full text,and puts forward the expectations and prospects for further in-depth research in the future.
