Learning motivation is an important factor affecting the positive development of students,teachers' teaching motivation strategies directly affect the acquisition and maintenance of students' learning motivation,and the science classroom,as the main front to enhance the motivation of scientific learning,has played a vital role in cultivating scientific literacy.“Compulsory Education Science Curriculum Standards” clearly stipulates that primary school science is a basic curriculum,the current primary school science classroom teaching in the student's learning motivation is facing challenges,primary school science curriculum aims to protect students' curiosity about nature through inquiry-based learning,stimulate students' interest in science,so as to effectively cultivate students' scientific literacy.Therefore,the primary science curriculum takes on the responsibility of cultivating the scientific literacy of primary school students and lays a good foundation for their continued learning and lifelong development.The ARCS motivation model constructed by four factors affecting learning motivation,attention,relevance,confidence,and satisfaction is considered to be one of the easiest to operate and systematic models today,and its effectiveness and applicability have also been confirmed in the field of education and teaching at home and abroad.Based on the ARCS motivation model,this study takes eight regular lessons of primary school science classroom teaching as the research object,uses NVivo12 plus to code it,analyzes the overall situation of teachers' motivation strategy in primary school science classroom teaching,compares and analyzes the difference between the application of teaching incentive strategies between expert teachers and novice teachers,summarizes the characteristics of the application of incentive strategies for primary school science classroom teaching,and provides teaching suggestions for primary school science teachers to teach and improve students' learning motivation level.The content of this study is:(1)Construct ARCS motivation policy encoding table.Organize the catalog of ARCS motivation model strategies proposed by Professor Keller in the United States,and adapt the ARCS motivation strategy coding table suitable for primary school science normal classroom teaching according to the domestic classroom situation.(2)Overall analysis of the application of motivation strategies for primary school science classroom teaching.After encoding the sample lessons,the NVivo12 plus visual analysis function and the interview with five elementary school science teachers were used to analyze the application of the teacher motivation strategy as a whole.(3)Case analysis of the application of motivation strategies in primary school science classroom teaching.Based on the overall analysis of the previous chapter,starting from the three-level motivation strategy,the specific and objective description of each lesson example is compared and analyzed,and the difference between the application of teaching incentive strategies between expert teachers and novice teachers is compared and analyzed.(4)Teaching suggestions.After analyzing the application of teacher motivation strategies and the differences between the application of motivation strategies between expert teachers and novice teachers,the application characteristics of motivation strategies for primary school science classroom teaching are summarized.From the four specific incentive strategies of schools,teachers and ARCS,the teaching suggestions that can be applied to the primary school science classroom are proposed.For example,deepening teaching reform,selecting appropriate teaching models,organizing collective lesson preparation,building a teacher exchange platform,flexibly using incentive strategies to meet students' personalized development,improving their own literacy and grasping the initiative of classroom teaching,and using rich teaching forms to attract students.
