The word "life concept" comes from the 2017 Edition of General Biology Curriculum Standards,and as a new teaching target,it has gradually become familiar to everyone.It includes four aspects: structure and function view,matter and energy view,evolution and adaptation view,steady state and balance view.In addition to these aspects,there are system view,information view and ecological view.On the basis of curriculum standard,the majority of scholars have divided the concept of life into new levels.For example,Professor Wu Chengjun,chief editor of the new textbook,makes a profound interpretation of the concept of life in the core literacy.He divides the concept of life into the following levels: the material view of life,structure and function view,matter,energy and information view,steady-state and regulation view,adaptation and evolution view,and ecological view.The selective compulsory module 1 steady-state and Regulation in the new textbook reveals the steady-state and equilibrium views on the macro level,while the material energy and information views are hidden in the micro small molecules.Therefore,this paper combines the concept of material energy and information with 7E teaching mode as the main means to explore whether the use of 7E teaching mode can better cultivate students’ concept of material energy and information.Firstly,this study maked a careful study of 7E teaching mode and the connotation of material and energy information view.Then,through the form of questionnaire,this paper understood the current situation of teachers’ Cultivation of biomass energy information concept in senior high school,and put forward some suggestions according to the current situation.Then,this paper analyzed the admission performance of eight parallel classes in the second grade of a senior high school in H City,selected four classes with no significant difference as the research object,then they were divided into control group and experimental group.The two groups used different teaching modes.The former used traditional teaching mode and the latter used 7E teaching mode.In order to better carry out the teaching design and understand the current situation of the cultivation of students’ concept of material and energy information,at the beginning of school,an investigation on the current situation of the cultivation of material and energy information concept was carried out for all the students in the parallel class of senior two.Then,the 7E teaching mode was used to design the relevant classes,and the teaching practice was carried out for one semester.After one month,two months and three months,the first stage test,the second stage test and the final test were carried out on the research objects,and a questionnaire survey was carried out again to understand the formation status of students’ material and energy information view.The practice results show that compared with the traditional teaching mode,the experimental group using the 7E teaching mode has improved in biology learning interest,classroom cooperation and the liking of the teaching mode,and all of them are higher than the control group.In the analysis of the achievement level of the material and energy information view,the students in the experimental group have a higher understanding of the material and energy information view than those in the control group,indicating that it is better to adopt the 7E teaching mode to cultivate the students’ material and energy information view.Through the first stage test score analysis,there is a significant difference in the academic performance of the two groups of middle and backward students,which shows that the 7E teaching model may have a better effect on the middle and backward students.To sum up,adopting7 E teaching mode has a better effect on cultivating students’ learning interest,material and energy information view and improving students’ classroom participation.
