Reading is the key to Chinese learning.Extracurricular reading activities play an important role in Chinese reading teaching,at the same time,it is also the supplement and expansion of textbook knowledge.Therefore,we need to be based on the classroom and focus on extracurricular,provide students with a good reading environment and carry out effective extracurricular reading guidance,so as to change the current situation of high-level primary school students' emphasis on in-class reading and out-of-class reading,and gradually cultivate primary school students' good extracurricular reading quality.Based on the sorting out of relevant literature at home and abroad,this study selects 300 high-level primary school students in H city as the survey object,analyzes the current situation of high-grade primary school students' extracurricular reading,explores the causes behind the problems,and explores strategies to improve the effectiveness of extra-curricular reading guidance.Based on this,we started with changing the concept of reading,recommending excellent books,improving reading interest,and guiding accumulation methods.This is the first attempt to carry out action research.After careful observation in educational practice,we found that parents' goals are too utilitarian,students' extracurricular reading habits are poor,and teachers' guidance form is single.In response to the above problems,the author adjusts and improves in time.we formulated and implemented the daily extracurricular reading plan in detail,selected the appropriate excellent books every month,strengthened the method guidance with in class reading teaching,optimized the evaluation system,and made a new exploration of extracurricular reading teaching.After two rounds of action research,we have achieved some results in improving the reading environment,selecting reading content,guiding reading methods and carrying out reading activities,but there are still many deficiencies.It is hoped that this article will be helpful when primary school Chinese teachers carry out extracurricular reading guidance,and can contribute to the actively promotion of primary school Chinese extracurricular reading.
