The rapid progress of science and technology is promoting new consumption methods to replace traditional consumption methods under the tide of the times.New media technology is constantly accelerating the upgrading,while young students have become the main force in the use of new media consumption,so that Western consumerism on the domestic ideological invasion further intensified,and extended to young students,which not only impacts the traditional concept of consumption,but also continues to make young students' consumption psychology and consumption behavior have different degrees of alienation.Therefore,the use of inquiry-based research methods to start from the analysis of historical materials and the investigation of practical problems,according to the environmental background of the new media era,to explore the consumption problem under the conditions of China's socialist market economy,and to specifically analyze the problem of consumption alienation of young students in China and explore the way to resolve it,which is a necessary topic that conforms to the times.Guided by the alienation theory of Marxism,this paper explores the consumption alienation among young students and its sublation,and intends to conduct research from the following aspects.First of all,it excavates the discourses of Marxist theory on consumption alienation in the context of the steam age,the electrical age and the information age,and under the guidance of its theory,the questionnaire survey and interview method are used to conduct a time-sensitive survey on the consumption status of young students in the new media era.According to the World Health Organization's age banding,in addition to adolescents,surveys of young students between the ages of 19 and24,namely specialist,undergraduate and master's students,were conducted without restrictive regional conditions.The survey information includes changes in young students' consumption patterns,consumption quotas,and consumer psychology other than basic conditions such as majors,family categories,and economic conditions.In the high-quality survey data of the completion reliability Cronbach coefficient of 0.802 and the validity KMO value of 0.826,the current consumption status and alienation of young students were analyzed.Secondly,combined with the data collected by the questionnaire of the text and the consumption survey data of various groups and stages of college students in the academic circles,analyze the performance of consumption alienation of young students in the current new media era,and compare the deviations of what should and what is in the consumption mode,consumption content,consumption demand,and consumption quota of young students in the new media era,so as to summarize the alienation phenomena and characteristics of consumer subjects and consumer objects in consumption behavior,as well as the inherent contradictions of the alienation of young students' consumption subjects and objects.On this basis,the reasons for the consumption alienation of young students affected by the new media era are summarized.These reasons include the internal factors of the young students' own consumption value judgment,the lack of desire and financial management ability,the external factors of the new media era,and the impetus of instrumental rationality.Finally,combining the above performances and attributions of alienation,the specific elimination path suitable for the consumption alienation of young students is explored in a targeted manner.These paths mainly include the following aspects: taking the Marxist theory of consumption,the social development theory of human freedom and all-round development,and the spiritual connotation of traditional Chinese consumption culture as the top-level design to guide consumption practice;purifying the main front of social,school,and family consumption in the new media era;strengthening the self-reflection ability of young students in the face of consumption,so that they can trigger consumption by identifying their own "essential" needs,and improve their ability to self-correct wrong consumption psychology and thus build civilized consumption.
