Research On Strengthening The Function Of Campus Ritual In Colleges And Universities In Ideological And Political Education In The New Era

Ritual is a special kind of human practice,a cultural phenomenon which is unique to human beings?Ritual reflects the historical inheritance and accumulation of human cognition and experience of the world.In the long-term development process,the connotation of rituals has been continuously enriched,and their educational functions and values such as communication,infection,cohesion,motivation and regulation have gradually been widely recognized,and their function has been increasingly explored and emphasized.Especially,campus rituals in colleges and universities can enhance students' personal experience and emotional perception in the process of participation,which can make ideological and political education more effective.Since the 18 th National Congress,Xi Jinping has paid special attention to the role of ritual systems in spreading mainstream values,emphasizing that we need to establish and standardize the etiquette system,organize and begin different commemorative celebrations,spread mainstream values,and enhance people's sense of identity and belonging.The New Outline also points out that the edifying role of etiquette and manners should be given full play in promoting the cultivation of moral practices.In the new era,organizing and guiding students to participate in campus rituals and giving full play to the educational function of campus rituals is the way to implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education in colleges and universities and make ideological and political education in colleges and universities more effective.Therefore,it is of great theoretical value and practical significance to further study and explore the function of campus rituals in colleges and universities in ideological and political education.This paper focuses the function of college campus rituals in ideological and political education from five aspects.First,on the basis of the interpretation of rituals and the basic theories of college campus rituals,it focuses on analyzing the inner connection between college campus rituals and ideological and political education.It is believed that the components of both are highly consistent,and college campus rituals can meet the development needs of ideological and political education in the new era,while ideological and political education can provide support for the development of college campus rituals.Secondly,the carrier theory of ideological and political education,interactive ritual chain theory and traditional Chinese ritual thought are explained in depth,and it is argued that these theories provide solid theoretical support for college campus rituals to play the function of ideological and political education.Thirdly,it analyzes the influencing elements and generating mechanism of the function of college campus rituals and further summarizes the function of rituals.It is believed that college students can get emotional experience and realize group identity in the ritual participation,on the basis of which they can internalize the ritual value concepts and get the motivation to practice these value concepts.The educational effect of rituals is closely related to the value connotation,symbols,process and cycle of ritual reproduction.Fourthly,focusing on the current situation of the implementation of rituals on college campuses,we affirm that the perfection of the ritual system,the enrichment of the content,the variety of forms and the expansion of the role of time and space have enhanced the educational function of rituals,but also point out that some rituals still have the problems of insufficient connotation,solidified forms,the absence of college students and the lack of follow-up work,which are mainly due to the lagging educational concept of ritual organizers,the quality of ritual participants to be improved and the lack of a long-term mechanism for ritual planning and implementation.The main reasons are that the education concept of ceremony organizers is lagging behind,the quality of ceremony participants needs to be improved,and the long-term mechanism of ceremony planning and implementation is not sound.Fifthly,proposing the path of enhancing the educational function of college campus rituals in the new era is.The ritual organizers should update the concept of ritual education;the ritual participants should correct their attitudes,enrich their knowledge of rituals and improve their ability to participate in rituals;the connotation,forms and symbols of rituals should be innovative;the long-term mechanism of rituals should be improved,etc.
