The Chinese culture has a long history with broad and profound meaning.AS one of representatives of those brilliant cultural forms,Chinese classical poetry has been preserved relatively intact.The cultural production of every civilization is accompanied by a certain voice and chanting is the necessary learning method in the history Chinese literature.Although chanting,which has a extremely long history,has declined in modern times,many educators and writers are strongly advocating its return in the classroom.In this way,people will feel the unique sense of rhythm of these classical poetry so as to fall in love with them.By learning about the author's life and translating word by word,the current teaching mode can no longer meet the requirements of " General High School Chinese Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)","Double New" Education Reform and interdisciplinary integrated teaching.The paper attempts to introduce a new teaching mode chanting,in the Chinese classical poetry course so as to enrich the content and teaching links of the class,and to enhance the interest in learning poetry of students.Then we will achieve the goal of inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese culture.Starting from the historical development of chanting in Chinese classical poetry and its education in China,this paper analyzes the role of it and the premise of its extensive use in the future.This paper summarizes the various forms of chanting applied in teaching,such as literature appreciation,extracurricular student associations,school-based curriculum and performance activities.After paying attention to the current methods and practical problems of middle school chanting teaching,it reveals the application mode of chanting based on teaching object,teaching practice and text particularity,and explains the common problems such as chanting pronunciation,tune and performance form.Using chanting to the teaching of ancient poetry,we need to understand the role of chanting can play in the classroom,abide by certain principles and let more front-line teachers have corresponding abilities,thus to give path support for the application of chanting in the teaching of ancient poetry in middle schools in China.
