Abstract/Summary:
In the 21st century,students’ core literacy puts forward higher requirements on students’ ability to use information and solve problems.Problem-based Learning has been proved to be an effective method to improve students’ above abilities.At present,some teachers in PBL classes ignore the importance of learning scaffol,which leads to the problem that some PBL classes are teacher-led while students passively accept knowledge.Therefore,in order to improve the effectiveness of PBL class and students’ problem-solving ability,this paper conducted a study on the design of learning scaffold in PBL class cases against the background of junior geography.In this study,based on the review of the existing mature learning scaffold design framework abroad,the analysis of the characteristics of junior geography,and the analysis of the cognitive characteristics of junior middle school students,the PBL learning scaffold design model of junior geography was constructed.The design model includes the theoretical framework,design principles,design elements and design process of learning scaffold.In order to verify the applicability of the PBL learning scaffold design model for junior geography,this paper designed a PBL lesson for junior geography with "Looking for the hottest room" as the problem situation,and developed 15 learning scaffolds in four categories under the guidance of the model.On the basis of following the paradigm of lesson study,this study conducted two rounds of PBL teaching practice,obtaining the verse 12 teaching video recording,30 group discussion on the audio script,52 recordings of after-class interviews and 300 learning tasks filled in by students during the implementation of teaching as data,and with the help of text analysis and video analysis,study the application effect of stent in classroom practice data for analysis.Finally,based on this,the study learning scaffold design model of PBL in junior geography was revised and some suggestions on learning scaffold design were put forward.The learning scaffold design model of junior geography PBL in this study is operable in teaching,which enriches the theoretical research of PBL and learning scaffold,and lays a foundation for the subsequent study on the application of learning scaffold.
