Early research suggested that leadership is an ability of a minority to influence the behavior of others,and that leadership is a trait that some people are born with.Later,as the research progressed,researchers found that leadership is a kind of ability that all people should have,and this ability can be formed through cultivation.In this context,student leadership,especially youth leadership,high school student leadership,college student leadership and other research areas have attracted much attention,and different researchers have carried out some useful explorations from different perspectives,and achieved a series of fruitful research results.Research shows that students' leadership is mainly composed of four dimensions: communication and decision-making,self-understanding,leadership self-efficacy and team work.The teaching of high school biology experimental class needs to be effectively completed through the teamwork of students,and in this teaching link,students can cultivate communication,decision-making,inquiry and other abilities,which is highly compatible with the development of student leadership,and provides a possibility for the teaching of high school biology experiment class to cultivate students' leadership.However,looking at the research results related to student leadership,few researchers have discussed the cultivation and development of student leadership from the perspective of teaching high school biology experimental classes.Therefore,this study explores the teaching strategies and practices of high school biology experimental courses based on student leadership development from three aspects.Firstly,using Lin Shaohui's revised leadership skills scale for high school students,the current situation of the leadership level of the second grade students in the teaching practice school was investigated from the four dimensions of students' understanding of themselves,team work,decision-making and communication,and leadership self-effectiveness.The results showed that the students' leadership level was low,which was reflected in the low scores of the students' decision-making and communication,and the self-efficacy of leadership.Secondly,based on the current situation of the leadership level of high school students,the teaching strategies and methods of a series of experimental courses such as the "little mr.system" were used to conduct practical research on the leadership training of students.The results revealed that the level of communication and decision-making and leadership self-efficacy of students has been significantly improved,and the level of students' leadership has been developed.Finally,combined with teaching practice,the recommendations for cultivating students' leadership in the teaching process of high school biology experimental classes are summarized.
