Modern and contemporary prose is an important part of Chinese reading teaching in junior high school,which plays a very important role in improving the language,thinking and aesthetic ability of junior high school students.However,the current situation of modern and contemporary prose teaching is not ideal,and there are problems such as teachers' excessive reliance on teaching reference,improper use of teaching methods,superficial teaching content and so on.In the long run,teachers and students will produce inertia,in the classroom,there is a lack of thinking collision,the lack of a unique experience of the text.Comparative reduction method is a text interpretation method proposed by Professor Sun Shaozhen.This method pays attention to the internal analysis of the text,but also ignores the external analysis of the text.This combination of internal and external interpretation method can solve the problems in modern and contemporary prose teaching to a certain extent.If teachers can reasonably apply this method to modern and contemporary prose teaching,students can experience the author's unique and exquisite writing art from multiple angles,and improve the effect of classroom teaching.In view of this,this paper tries to introduce the comparative reduction method into the modern and contemporary prose teaching in junior middle school,so as to provide some ideas for breaking through the teaching dilemma of modern and contemporary prose in junior middle school.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,subject and conclusion.The introduction section expounds the research origin,research significance,research status and research method,which is the basis of the research.The first part of the text expounds the definition and level of comparative reduction method,and summarizes the characteristics of comparative reduction method.The second part mainly investigates the status quo of modern and contemporary prose teaching in junior middle school through questionnaire and interview,summarizes the problems arising in modern and contemporary prose reading teaching in junior middle school,and analyzes the reasons.The third part analyzes the comparison reduction method and introduces the value and possibility of modern and contemporary prose teaching in junior high school.The introduction of comparative reduction method into modern and contemporary prose teaching in junior middle school is enough to improve the prose interpretation ability of junior middle school Chinese teachers,deepen the teaching content of modern and contemporary prose,and improve students' interpretation ability of modern and contemporary prose.At the same time,the comparative reduction method fits with the Chinese curriculum standards,junior middle school Chinese teaching materials,and the physical and mental development laws of junior middle school students.Therefore,it is necessary to introduce the comparative reduction method into the modern and contemporary prose teaching in junior high school.The fourth part is the method of introducing modern and contemporary prose teaching in junior high school.From the perspective of comparison and restoration,this part puts forward the strategy of restoring the key words,the logical variation,the author omission and the historical context of the work.From the perspective of comparison,the same author and different authors are compared.Finally,the attention of the introduction of modern and contemporary prose teaching are discussed.The fifth part is the case design of comparative reduction method applied to modern and contemporary prose teaching in junior high school.This part takes Lu Xun's A Chang and the Classic of Mountains and Seas as an example for specific teaching design,which provides a case reference for the comparative reduction method applied to modern and contemporary prose teaching in junior high school.The concluding section summarizes the article and analyzes the research limitations and further research directions.
