The ideology and politics course is both a social science education course and a moral education course at the same time.This determines its unique core position and fundamental role and major tasks in quality education,which cannot be replaced by any other subjects.As the main participants in the study of the Civics classroom,students’ participation and characteristics in the classroom will directly affect the effectiveness of classroom teaching,and students must be fully engaged in the Civics classroom.However,through research,it is found that in actual teaching,there are many problems with students’ learning participation in the high school Civics classroom,and classroom management is a basic condition for educational activities.Scientific and efficient classroom management is conducive to the improvement of students’ learning participation level,and it is important to build a good teaching environment and cultivate high quality talents.Therefore,it is necessary to analyse the problems of high school students’ participation in the Civics classroom and explore effective strategies to improve classroom management.Taking X High School in G Province as an example,the thesis uses questionnaires,interviews and observations to conduct an in-depth investigation into the current situation of managing students’ learning participation in the Civic Studies classroom in the sample school,based on the analysis of existing literature on students’ learning participation management at home and abroad.Combining the results of the questionnaire survey,interviews with teachers and students and classroom observations,the current problems in the management of students’ learning participation in senior secondary school classrooms are analysed and summarised in terms of behavioural particip ation,cognitive participation and emotional participation,as well as teacher leadership,teacher-student interaction and motivational processes;the causes of the problems are further explored;finally,specific strategies are proposed for senior secondary school teachers in the management of students’ learning participation.Finally,it proposes specific strategies to optimize the management of students’ learning and participation behaviours,emphasizing the importance of behavioural management strategies,and the need for Civics teachers to pay attention to different students’ learning and participation behaviours in the classroom and to improve their own classroom management skills. |
