The 2017 edition of chemistry curriculum standards condensed five core disciplines.Among them,literacy of evidence reasoning and model cognition points out that students should learn to establish cognitive models and be able to use models to explain the essence and laws of chemical phenomena.Chemistry classroom modeling teaching is an important platform for students to establish models.Whether students can skillfully establish and use models directly affects their learning.Existing studies mainly focus on how to implement modeling teaching in chemistry classroom,however,there are relatively few studies on the evaluation of the current situation of chemical modeling teaching.Therefore,exploring the current situation of modeling teaching in senior high school chemistry classroom is of great significance to implement high-level modeling teaching,develop students' modeling ability and improve the teaching quality of chemistry classroom.After combing the relevant research of modeling teaching and clarifying the relevant concepts,select 50 chemistry classroom teaching cases in senior one after the implementation of the new curriculum standard,obtain the original materials by dividing and describing the fragments of modeling teaching activities in the classroom,conceptualize and categorize the original materials by three-level coding based on grounded theory,extract the types of current chemistry classroom modeling teaching activities in senior one,and test them theoretically.Then we choose 12 different levels of chemistry typical classroom teaching cases in senior one.By analyzing the commonness of teaching cases at the same level in various modeling teaching activities,this paper summarizes the advanced characteristics of modeling teaching activities in senior one chemistry classroom.It is found that under the current new curriculum background,there are four types of chemistry classroom modeling teaching activities in senior one,namely,constructing model,evaluating model,improving model and using model,which includes nine subcategories of activities: creating modeling situation,predicting model,establishing model,understanding model,expressing model,comparing model,evaluating model,improving model and using model.At the same time,it is found that in all kinds of modeling teaching activities,the modeling teaching of high-level lessons is student-centered,and students can construct models independently.The modeling teaching of middle-level courses is mainly guided by teachers,and students have less activities of building models independently.The modeling teaching of low-level lesson cases is mainly teachers,lack of students' modeling activities or single students' activities,and the classroom is easy to present "injection" teaching.Based on the analysis results,the paper puts forward some suggestions to promote high-level modeling teaching classroom:excavate teaching situation materials and play the role of situation modeling;carefully design modeling teaching and increase student participation behavior;simulate the modeling process of scientists and experience the process of scientific exploration.Due to limited research time and personal ability,there are still some problems in this paper,such as the limited number of case samples and the subjectivity of case analysis.The follow-up research will further improve the level characteristic analysis of high school classroom modeling teaching activities and evaluate classroom modeling teaching more objectively and accurately.
