In 2021 the Ministry of Education promulgated the revolutionary tradition in primary and secondary school curriculum guide,revolutionary tradition works reading teaching has been paid more attention to,the class works reading teaching aims at language learning,on the basis of leading the student back in the revolutionary history and events,of heroic deeds,engraved revolutionary memory,inheriting the revolutionary spirit,improve the language comprehensive quality.This paper takes H Middle School as an example to study the reading teaching of Traditional Chinese revolutionary works,pay attention to the teaching status,find problems and find causes,and put forward improvement strategies.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction focuses on the origin of the research,expounds the research methods,and summarizes the significance and status of the research from the national macro policy requirements.The text consists of three parts.The first part explores the current situation of reading teaching of revolutionary traditional works in H Middle School through students' questionnaires and in-depth interviews with teachers.The students' questionnaire mainly investigated learning motivation,reading situation and evaluation feedback,and found that students did not pay enough attention to revolutionary texts,read less,the learning effect was superficial,and had higher expectations for diversified teaching forms.Teachers' in-depth interviews investigated the setting of teaching objectives,content integration,teaching method selection and evaluation implementation.It is found that teachers generally attach great importance to the revolutionary works,but the teaching process is greatly influenced by the baton of the senior high school entrance examination,and the teaching method is mainly traditional,lacking of practical activities and the integration of revolutionary texts.On this basis,the second part summarizes the problems existing in the reading teaching of revolutionary traditional works in H middle school and their causes.The existing problems are summarized as follows: the traditional teaching method is the main,and the lack of revolutionary cultural practice activities;Students are not interested in learning and have obvious test-taking motivation.The utilization rate of revolutionary cultural resources is low,and multi-media,interdisciplinary and local revolutionary cultural resources need to be utilized.The result evaluation is difficult to monitor the real level of students,and finally makes the effect of emotional education superficial.Actively exploring the reasons can be attributed to the following four aspects.First,the time nature of Chinese revolutionary traditional works and the duality of text discourse increase the difficulty of learning;Secondly,teachers lack of rational use of revolutionary cultural resources;Thirdly,the traditional teaching method has been difficult to meet the diverse requirements of students;Finally,the exam-oriented orientation of Chinese revolutionary works reading teaching determines the exam-oriented result evaluation.The third part aims at the problems existing in the reading teaching of revolutionary traditional works in H middle school and puts forward suggestions for improvement.First of all,from the text,grasp the time and discourse duality of revolutionary works,carry out four-fold dialogue to restore the historical background of revolutionary works.Secondly,the teaching form should be enriched by creating learning situations of revolutionary works and reciting revolutionary classics.Thirdly,we should pay attention to the integration of revolutionary cultural learning resources,make full use of multimedia and interdisciplinary resources,make good use of local revolutionary cultural tourism resources,assist the reading teaching of revolutionary traditional works,integrate relevant texts,carry out text links,and promote the in-depth learning of revolutionary works.Finally,the evaluation index of revolutionary works should be established to promote the diversification of evaluation subjects and evaluation methods.The reading teaching research of Traditional Chinese revolutionary works in H middle school combines the selection of literary features with teaching practice,which is conducive to teachers and students to grasp the characteristics of revolutionary works and feel the historical and spiritual significance conveyed by the works.Exploring teaching problems based on the current situation is beneficial to stimulate students' emotional experience,deepen patriotic feelings,and promote the inheritance and promotion of revolutionary culture and revolutionary spirit.
