With the development of society and innovation of science and technology,people's living standard has been improving,and at the same time,it has brought serious environmental problems.How to manage environmental problems,how to prevent environmental pollution and other problems need to be solved.Education bears the responsibility of training environmental talents and developing green technology.Due to its own subject attributes,chemistry plays an irreplaceable role in the prevention and management of environmental problems,the cultivation of the concept of "green chemistry" and environmental awareness,and the formation of the concept of sustainable development.The General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2020 edition)clearly stipulate the environmental education of the required content of high school chemistry,requiring the cultivation of students' environmental awareness and the formation of the concept of "green chemistry".Based on this curriculum standard,different versions of high school chemistry textbooks have been prepared in various regions.In this paper,we conduct a comparative study of the environmental education content in the required modules of high school chemistry textbooks published by People's Education Press in 2019,Jiangsu Education Press in 2020,and Shandong Science and Technology Press in 2019 to highlight the differences in the environmental education content in each version of the required textbooks for teachers' reference.The research content of this paper is divided into five parts:First,through the literature analysis method,we summarize the development of "environmental education" in China and the research of environmental education content in textbooks at home and abroad,and determine the research idea of this paper.Second,through content analysis,the development of environmental education content in the General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard(revised in 2020)is studied,and the requirements of the new standard for environmental education content are analyzed.Third,through the content analysis method and comparative study method,we analyze the environmental education contents in the compulsory modules of the three new textbooks,and comparatively study the implementation of the requirements of the new standards,the setting of relevant columns,and the setting of relevant pictures in the overall context.Fourthly,through the content analysis and comparative research method,we selected two experiments,"Chlorine Preparation Experiment" and "Concentrated Sulfuric Acid and Copper Experiment",and made comparative research on the environmental education contents in the experiments,and gave teaching suggestions on the environmental education contents in the experiments.Fifthly,through content analysis and comparative study method,we selected the prominent environmental problem "acid rain" and conducted a comparative study in the context of "scientific attitudes and social responsibility" as the core literacy of the subject.The results of the study are as follows.(1)By comparing the overall contents of the three editions,we found that the environmental education contents in the three editions basically meet the requirements of the new curriculum,but the emphasis on the setting of columns and pictures is different.The Human Education edition focuses more on social issues and problem-solving columns,the Su Education edition focuses on extension columns,and the Luke edition focuses more on student participation columns.The Human Education version has more pictures of principles,the Su Education version has more pictures of phenomena,and the Luke version has more pictures of methods.(2)A comparison of two experiments,"Chlorine Preparation Experiment" and "Concentrated Sulfuric Acid and Copper Experiment",reveals that all three editions of the textbook combine environmental education content with chemical knowledge in the two experiments,but in terms of the selection of experimental drugs,the setup of experimental devices and the setup of exhaust gas treatment devices,the Human Education edition is more comprehensive.(3)A comparison of the specific environmental content "acid rain" reveals that there are some differences in the development of "scientific attitudes and social responsibility" among the three editions of the textbook,and each edition has its own characteristics.
