With the rapiddevelopment of China's social economy,I do not know when these natural things will no longer be natural.Thick black smoke has covered the clear sky.The blue algae bloom phenomenon makes people miserable and brings a series of hidden dangers and hazards.Urban air pollution has led to an increase in the incidence rate of people.Water pollution has seriously deteriorated the quality of water environment and the quality of drinking water sources has generally declined,threatening people's health.Especially in recent years,there have been long-term and large-scale haze weather in central and eastern China.At that time,smog and PM2.5became headlines and hot topics on microblogs.Therefore,each of us should establish the consciousness of protecting the environment.As a people's teacher,I am duty-bound to cultivate students' awareness of environmental protection.Environmental protection education is an important part of quality education,through which the whole nation's awareness of environmental protection can be improved.Junior high school chemistry can not only give students scientific knowledge,but also help to form a correct concept of environmental protection.In the process of chemistry teaching,scientific knowledge is linked with environmental protection awareness.Through effective methods,environmental protection concepts are reasonably infiltrated into chemistry teaching,so as to improve junior high school students' environmental protection awareness and enthusiasm,and guide them to consciously care for nature and protect the environment.In recent years,environmental protection has been paid more and more attention by the whole people,so middle school students have a certain degree of environmental awareness,but this awareness lacks systematicness and comprehensiveness,and the implementation of transforming awareness into action still needs to be strengthened.For this reason,thisresearch combines theoretical analysis,questionnaire survey,educational statistics and other research methods,points out the weak points of the current junior high school students' environmental protection consciousness,and puts forward the importance of strengthening the junior high school students' environmental protection consciousness,and explores the effective ways and methods to enhance the students' environmental protection consciousness through junior high school students' chemical teaching in combination with the physical and mental characteristics of junior high school students and the characteristics of chemistry subjects,as well as the contents of teaching materials.In the process of research,questionnaire survey,interview and document analysis were used to carry out experimental teaching,taking teachers and students of experimental junior high school in Liyang city of Jiangsu province as an example.First of all,I consulted the relevant literature on environmental education and situational teaching method,and learned a variety of research methods such as theoretical analysis,education statistics,questionnaire survey,etc.It provides theoretical basis and technical support for the implementation of the research of this topic.Secondly,in the process of implementing the experiment,a questionnaire was first conducted on the current environmental awareness and behavior of students and teachers,and the reasons for the weak environmental awareness of students were found out,and a strategic plan for improving the environmental awareness of students through situational teaching was put forward.Secondly,the research methods and tools to be used in this experiment are defined.Combined with the relevant contents of environmental protection in junior high school chemistry teaching in Shanghai Education Edition,the chapters related to environmental protection education in teaching materials are excavated and environmental teaching cases are designed with situational teaching methods.Through experiments,the methods to effectively promote environmental education are explored.Again,through the collection and analysis of experimental data from the experimental class and the control class,the effect evaluation of environmental protection education by situational teachingmethod is summarized.The results show that the application of situational teaching punishment has a significant effect on enhancing students' awareness of environmental protection.
