Abstract/Summary:
As the basis of high school mathematics learning,function is the core knowledge point connecting other contents.The learning of function nature is of great significance to students’ development.If the monotonicity of function can not be grasped in time,it will affect the maximum and minimum value of learning function,separation of derivative parameters and practical application problems.And if the odevity of functions was so,it will affect the learning of symmetry of functions and the drawing of some function images,and then affect the understanding,mastery and application of periodicity of functions,trigonometric functions and Analytic geometry.The test objects of this study are some senior one students of Y high school in S City of L Province.Based on the knowledge of "the concept and properties of function",which is the basic content of senior high school mathematics compulsory one,this paper investigates and analyzes the problem-solving ability of senior high school students on functional properties(the monotonicity of function,the odevity of functions)by compiling the function property test paper.Then by Newman’s error analysis theory and Weiner’s attribution theory,summarizing the types of errors in solving problems of function properties(the monotonicity of function,the odevity of functions)and the causes of errors in solving problems of function properties(the monotonicity of function,the odevity of functions).Finally,drawing the following conclusions:The concept of function property is vague and the understanding is not thorough.The first is that the students don’t know the correct way to solve the problem,and the second is that the students don’t know the correct way to solve the problem.Poor calculation ability and operation errors in calculation.The answer writing is not standardized and loses points.According Weiner’s attribution theory and the data from questionnaire,most of the students attribute their mistakes to their poor learning ability,inappropriate learning methods,insufficient study effort,and poor physical and mental state when answering questions.These aspects are mainly due to their own circumstances.These internal factors can be easily improved in Weiner’s attribution theory.The difficulty of knowledge and test paper also affect students’ answers.For such external factors,students can improve by doing exercises and summarizing lessons in time.
