Mathematical language is the carrier of mathematical thinking and knowledge.Based on the presentation form,mathematical language can be divided into verbal language,symbolic language and graphic language.Different forms of mathematical language and natural language have their own characteristics,which are required to be converted mutually under certain circumstances.The conversion of mathematical language refers to the conversion of different types of mathematical languages and natural languages to maintain their semantics,including conversion in different representations within the same mathematical language,conversion between different types of mathematical language,and conversion between mathematical language and natural language.This article is mainly discuss how to develop this capability of high school students based on the theory of deep learning.The theory aims to develop higher-order thinking.Based on such theory,the essence of cultivating the capability is to develop the depth,flexibility,agility,originality and criticism.In order to fully grasp the level of mathematical language conversion of high school students,a series of survey of test paper,questionnaire and interview were conducted with teachers and seniors of a high school in Fujian Province as the survey subjects.Firstly,based on the SOLO classification theory,combined with the psychological mechanism of mathematical language conversion in mathematical problem solving,the evaluation criteria of the tests are formulated,and the capability of mathematical language conversion of senior high school students is quantitatively analyzed.The results show that the capability of the students is at multistructural level,which means at a low level.Secondly,analyzing the results using the statistical software SPSS20.0.The result shows that there are gender differences in the capability;the three groups of students with different academic performance levels in mathematics also have different degrees of differences in the capability;mathematics scores and mathematical language conversion test scores are positively correlated,and the correlation coefficient is 0.877.Finally,according to students' questionnaire surveys and teachers' interviews,to understand the current teaching situation of mathematical language conversion in senior high school.According to the investigation and analysis,the problems of senior high school students in mathematical language conversion are found.Based on the theory of deep learning,proposing some teaching strategies to cultivate the capability.The specific content is as follows.In the teaching of mathematical concepts,pay attention to concept differentiation and avoid confusing mathematical concepts with daily concepts;focus on formation of the concepts and express concepts from multiple angles;based on the combination of dynamic and static,focus on the dynamic representation of concepts;making concepts charts to improve the mathematical language system.In the teaching of mathematical propositions,focus on the logical language to master important language tools;analyze the language structure and cleverly break through long sentence expressions;advocate multiple conversions and flexibly use equivalent propositions;make good use of wordless proofs,cultivate the ability to understand graphics.In the teaching of mathematics problem solving,pay attention to equivalent conversion,strengthen the flexibility of mathematics language conversion;seek simple solutions,and strengthen the agility of mathematics language conversion;break the fixed thinking,and strengthen the innovation of mathematics language conversion.In reveal thinking methods,strengthen the profoundness of mathematical language conversion.In teaching of mathematical modeling,the stage of asking questions is to establish the thinking consciousness of mathematical language.In the model building stage,strengthen the mathematics of natural language;in the model-solving stage,cultivate the flexibility of language conversion;in reflection and summary stage,develop mathematics language expression ability.Finally,on the basis of these training strategies,practical research is carried out,and testing the effectiveness of the ploys by analyzing students' performance,finished homework and the evaluation of teachers.
