"General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)" pointed out: "General high school chemistry course is a basic education course connected with the nine-year compulsory education stage chemistry or science course",with the continuous deepening of curriculum reform,junior high school chemistry link problem has become increasingly prominent."Metals and their compounds" are an important part of the high school teaching knowledge system,and play a carrier and support role for the learning of basic concepts and principles of chemistry.Therefore,it is an important perspective for the current chemistry curriculum reform to carry out the research on the articulation of "metals and their compounds".On the basis of literature analysis,a questionnaire survey and analysis were carried out on the chemistry learning status of 508 high school students and the connection teaching status of 20 high school chemistry teachers in 4 middle schools in Hanzhong City.Based on the chemistry curriculum standards and textbooks for junior and senior high schools,the content cohesion analysis of the theme of "metals and their compounds" was carried out.According to the results of the questionnaire survey and content cohesion analysis,three typical cases were designed using the structured teaching model of high school chemistry content."Chemistry subject proficiency test questions to test the effectiveness of bridging teaching.The main research conclusions are as follows:1.There are some problems in students,teachers,curriculum setting,teaching and research activities and job circulation in the current middle and high school chemistry linking teaching.2.There is a lack of connection between the chemistry curriculum standards and textbooks in junior and senior high schools in terms of curriculum nature,curriculum philosophy,curriculum objectives,and content requirements and knowledge of "metals and their compounds".3.The evaluation after the implementation of bridging teaching shows that:(1)the total average score of the students in the experimental class is 4.45 points higher than that in the control class;(2)Compared with the control class,the average scores of the students in the experimental class in the test questions of explanation and argumentation,inference prediction,analysis and explanation and simple design ability are 1.02,0.79,1.16 and 0.87 points higher in turn,and there is a significant difference between the two;(3)The average score of the students in the experimental class is 2 points higher than that in the control class.It can be seen that the implementation of "metals and their compounds" linking teaching has a certain promotion effect on students’ chemistry subject ability and performance.Based on the theoretical analysis and practical research of the above connection teaching,the structured teaching strategy of "metals and their compounds"(ie knowledge structure,problem structure and cognitive structure)has been condensed.Four suggestions were put forward for front-line teachers to implement the connection teaching between junior and senior high schools: strengthen psychological transformation and connection,and enhance the interest of chemistry;guide students to study independently,cultivate good learning methods and habits;deeply grasp the teaching materials and curriculum standards,and improve the knowledge structure;High school chemistry teaching seminar.
