With the deeper reforms for basic education curriculum,the function of school-based curriculum is increasingly important in the three-level curriculum construction system.School-based curriculum of fine arts in senior high school can remedy the lack of national unified arrangement of curriculum,meet the needs of students,highlight the school characteristics,and improve students' interest in art class.As an important part of the Longmen Grottoes,a world cultural heritage,Longmen Twenty Calligraphic Gems is a collection of various arts such as Northern Wei folk culture,Wei stele calligraphy and ancient stone carvings,contains rich artistic and cultural values.Transforming it into a high school art school-based curriculum makes students in art class understand and agree with its cultural value.It is advantageous to the work of aesthetic education in advance.Therefore,this paper takes No.1 Senior High School in Ruyang County,Luoyang city as an example to bring Longmen Twenty Calligraphic Gems into high school art classroom,make an attempt on developing school-based art curriculum,and practice it in teaching.It can make students intuitively feel cultural charm and enhance students' cultural confidence and national pride.Simultaneously,it has enriched the high school art curriculum resources,improved students' aesthetic and practical ability,promoted teachers' professional development and the reform of teacher-student interaction mode in the classroom,alleviated the current predicament of the county high school art class.The paper can be split into five parts: In part one,it is the introduction,summarizing the background and importance of study,explaining the research methods and contents,describing the general development process of school-based curriculum in China and other countries and drawing valuable development experience from it.The focus of the theoretical research in this paper is on the second part,seeding the ground for the steady progress of research work.Firstly,the author analyzes the value of Longmen Twenty Calligraphic Gems from three aspects: historical position,artistic value and humanistic value.Secondly,the questionnaire survey provided an understanding of status quo and problems of the experimental schools art as well as combine with the advantages of Longmen Twenty Calligraphic Gems school-based curriculum development to determine the feasibility of this study.The third part is to develop the principles of such a school-based curriculum and to attempt to compile the high school art textbook Longmen Twenty Calligraphic Gems from the three modules of fine arts appreciation,Chinese painting and calligraphy,and fine arts and crafts.In part four,class teaching practices and evaluation reflection of developing school-based curriculum of Longmen Twenty Calligraphic Gems.The author combines with the school-based textbooks written earlier,carries out teaching design and classroom practice and formulated the evaluation tables of teachers and students respectively.Through the feedback of teachers and students,the advantages and disadvantages of teaching content,teaching effect and teaching methods were reflected,and corresponding improvement measures were formulated.The fifth part is a summary of the steps of this research,followed by the general process of developing school-based fine arts curriculum.The author hopes that this study will offer a reference method for the development of school-based art curriculum in Luoyang County high school.The author will try to apply the research path of this school-based curriculum development to the precious cultural heritage with artistic value and cultural value,such as jade,porcelain and so on,and make a contribution to enhance the new vitality of fine arts curriculum in the future.
