The Sixth Plenary Session of the 19 th CPC Central Committee pointed out that China has entered a new journey in the stage of socialist development.Based on the new stage of development and realizing high-quality development,we should promote the self-reliance and self-improvement of science and technology and adhere to the harmonious coexistence between man and nature.The party and the state require educators to cultivate comprehensive talents with all-round development of morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor,forming the concept and idea of educational development in the new era.In May 2021,the19 th meeting of the central comprehensive Deepening Reform Commission deliberated and adopted the opinions on further reducing the homework burden and after-school training burden of students in the stage of compulsory education.The "double reduction" policy requires schools to enrich and improve the teaching quality of basic courses.In biology,we should optimize teaching methods,improve the effect of classroom teaching,and let students use biological knowledge to solve the problems encountered in life.As a new concept of science education,STSE can effectively connect scientific knowledge with production and life,and pay attention to cultivating students' scientific thinking ability and innovation ability.Under the guidance of the new curriculum standard and the reform concept of the new college entrance examination,integrating STSE teaching into biology teaching is conducive to promoting the formation of students' core quality of biology,which is the hot spot of biology teaching reform in senior high school.On the basis of reading the relevant literature of STSE education and clarifying the research results of STSE education at home and abroad,this study first analyzes and summarizes the research status of STSE education theory at home and abroad by using the method of literature analysis,and summarizes the relevant theoretical knowledge of STSE education;This paper analyzes the importance of STSE education in biology teaching,and discusses the current situation of STSE education in biology teaching research.Then it investigates the current situation of biology STSE teaching in senior high school.Through the questionnaire,it can be seen that students have high interest in biology,but the level of STSE consciousness is not high,and they are unfamiliar with the test questions with STSE as the background.Biology teachers have different cognition of STSE education.Some teachers have higher cognition of STSE education and apply it more in class.Through the questionnaire survey,it is also found that schools have less supporting facilities for STSE educational resources.Schools should carry out various STSE educational activities and strengthen teacher training.The author also analyzes the contents of the biology STSE test questions of the college entrance examination in Heilongjiang Province from 2019 to 2021.The life system of the STSE test questions mainly has the following three characteristics: 1.The test questions pay attention to the basis of students and highlight the examination of ability;2.The test questions are comprehensive,focusing on the synthesis of knowledge in biology class;3.The situation of test question design is real,the questions are hierarchical,and the presentation methods are diversified.Finally,through the research on the content of selective compulsory 3 "biotechnology and Engineering" in biology textbook of people's Education Edition,the teaching design and practice based on STSE are carried out based on the principle of student subject,interest-based principle and systematic principle.From the practical results,it can be seen that the penetration of STSE education in teaching makes students more interested in biology learning,improve their academic performance,improve their language expression ability,and help students form STSE thinking consciousness.At the same time,teachers pay more attention to the role of STSE education concept in teaching,which improves teachers' teaching practice ability.Education is an important part of social life.Nowadays,the world is setting off an upsurge of educational reform for practical education.Educational researchers should not confine students in the classroom,but strengthen the connection between students and the real society.The penetration of STSE in senior high school biology teaching is conducive to cultivating students' sense of social responsibility,innovative spirit and practical ability.At the same time,it is conducive to cultivating students' language expression ability and autonomous learning ability,and laying the foundation for students' lifelong development.
