The Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education issued by the Ministry of Education in 2011 pointed out that the development of mathematical logical reasoning ability should run through the whole process of mathematics learning.Reasoning is the basic way of thinking in mathematics and often used in people's study and life.Cultivating the mathematical and logical reasoning ability of junior high school students can play a leading role.By sorting out the existing relevant literature,based on "What is the current situa tion of the mathematical logical reasoning ability of junior high school students in Sh ule County?" and "How is the mathematical logical reasoning ability of junior high sc hool students in Shule County in different dimensions?" For these two questions,a tot al of 380 students in four classes in a township middle school in Shule County and a d irect middle school in Shule County were selected as research objects,and the mathe matical logical reasoning ability of junior high school students in Shule County was e valuated,and the following conclusions were obtained:(1)On the whole,the development of the mathematical logical reasoning ability of junior high school students in Shule County is not optimistic and needs to be improved.From the perspective of overall differences,there are no significant differences in students' mathematical logical reasoning ability between different grades and schools.(2)From the perspective of various dimensions:1)Level dimension of mathematical logic reasoning abilityThe knowledge acquisition level performs best,with 94% of students who have met the requirements of knowledge acquisition level.Under the knowledge acquisition level dimension,there is no significant difference in grade and school category.The level of knowledge understanding and knowledge transfer have performed well.57% and 54% of students have met the requirements of knowledge understanding and knowledge transfer level respectively.Under the dimension of knowledge understanding and knowledge transfer level,there is no significant difference in students' knowledge understanding level performance in grades and school categories.The level of knowledge innovation is the worst.Only 7.6% of students have met the requirements of knowledge innovation level.In the dimension of knowledge innovation level,there is no significant difference in students' knowledge innovation level performance in grades and school categories.2)The structural dimension of mathematical logical reasoning abilityStudents' reasoning ability performs better than deductive reasoning,and inductive reasoning ability performs better than analogy reasoning.Under the dimension of reasoning,55% of students' scores meet the requirements.There is no significant difference between grades and school categories.In the dimension of deductive reasoning,the score of 8% of students has reached the requirements,and there is no significant difference in the grade and school category.3)Mathematics course content dimensionStudents' numbers and algebraic dimensions perform better than graphics and geometry.In the numerical and algebraic dimensions,56.8% of students have met the requirements,and there is no significant difference in student performance in grade and school categories.In graphic and geometric dimensions,27% of students have met the requirements,and there is no significant difference in students' performance in grades and school categories.According to the performance of students in the mathematical logical reasoning ability test for junior high school students in Shule County and the data analysis results of the student questionnaire,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Teachers pay attention to cultivating and developing students' knowledge understanding,knowledge transfer and knowledge innovation in their daily teaching,so as to improve students' mathematical and logical reasoning ability;(2)Teachers pay attention to cultivating students' good learning methods and improving students' learning efficiency.
