Under the new educational background and the requirements of the new curriculum standards,the traditional single teaching mode has been unable to adapt.Teachers need to try diversified teaching modes to cultivate students’ ability while completing teaching objectives.5E Teaching mode is a new teaching mode composed of five links: engagement,exploration,explanation,elaboration and evaluation.This mode is suitable for cultivating students’ biological core literacy required in the new curriculum standard,and has been proved by many studies to improve students’ inquiry ability.5E Teaching mode has been widely studied and applied abroad,and the relevant research in China is also increasing year by year.The 5E Teaching mode has a certain scope of application,and the content and conditions of application need to be reasonably selected to fully reflect the role of the 5E Teaching Mode in teaching activities,In this study,the author uses the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and teaching practice to study the application status and teaching effect of 5E Teaching mode.Firstly,by consulting the literature,we can understand the specific link characteristics,research status and theoretical basis of 5E Teaching Mode at home and abroad,and determine the research ideas and research scheme.Edit the student questionnaire and teacher questionnaire to understand students’ learning interest and attitude and teachers’ application of 5E Teaching mode.Based on the characteristics of 5E Teaching mode,select the appropriate teaching content and carry out the teaching design of 5E Teaching mode.The control method is used to carry out5 E Teaching and traditional teaching for a group of parallel classes respectively.After one semester of teaching practice,the teaching effect is tested through knowledge test and post-test questionnaire,and the statistical results are analyzed by SPSS data analysis software.Finally,through the analysis of the data results,draw a conclusion,and put forward the shortcomings and prospects.After nearly three months of investigation and practice,and analyzing the data,we draw the following conclusions:(1)the biology classroom in senior high schools in Kashgar is still dominated by the traditional teaching mode.(2)5E Teaching mode can improve students’ interest in learning.(3)5E Teaching mode can improve students’ inquiry consciousness and ability.(4)5E Teaching mode can improve students’ academic performance.It can be seen that 5E Teaching mode is of great significance to develop students’ ability and enhance their interest in learning.Finally,combined with the survey results and teaching practice results,this paper puts forward the implementation strategies and suggestions. |
