With the rapid development of educational technology,information teaching has become the trend of the times,which has caused the reform of educational teaching.Blended learning is a kind of cold thinking about online teaching,which combines online teaching with traditional teaching,conforms to the new trend of teaching reform,and takes the development of students’ core biology literacy as the fundamental goal.The core concept of biology has a commanding position in biology teaching,which enables students to have a deeper understanding of what they have learned and to move and apply it better.On this basis,we should cultivate students’ core biology literacy.This study investigates the situation of the teaching of core concepts of biology in high schools through interviews.This paper analyzes the existing problems in the teaching of core concepts and the necessity of implementing Blended learning mode.Based on the present situation of Blended learning and core concept teaching at home and abroad,this paper combs out the core concepts of “cell structure”,and explores the basic principles and steps of implementing Blended learning mode in core concept teaching.Then,on the basis of the above theories,a teaching case is designed under the guidance of the teachers on the front line,and the students of two parallel classes in the first grade of a high school in Kashi region are selected as the research subjects for teaching experiment.Finally,through pretest,posttest,questionnaire and interview,the effect of hybrid teaching is tested,and some solutions are put forward according to some problems in practice.The results show that:(1)At present,the teaching situation of the core concepts of biology in high school is not optimistic: most teachers have a single teaching method and only pay attention to the students’ recitation of the concepts.Students are in a position of passive acceptance,low interest in learning,weak autonomy,etc.(2)The teaching of core concepts based on hybrid teaching model can improve students’ biological learning achievement and promote teaching effectiveness.(3)The hybrid teaching model can help students better understand core concepts,increase their learning autonomy,increase their learning interests and improve their learning habits.In conclusion,this study applied blended teaching to core concept teaching,verified the effectiveness of blended learning,in order to provide reference for the implementation of high school biology core concept teaching and blended learning.
