High school ideological and political course is the main course to cultivate students’ legal literacy,which needs to actively explore effective teaching methods.Guided by cultivating the core quality of subjects,the topic-based teaching conforms to the requirements of "the outline of rule of law education for young people",which emphasizes the increase of teaching activities,participation,practice and speculation.It helps to make up for the lack of neglecting the cultivation of thinking and practice ability of rule of law in the ideological and political teaching of senior high school.It is an operable teaching method to cultivate students’ rule of law quality.Therefore,this paper studies the topic-based teaching from the perspective of the cultivation of the rule of law literacy.Taking the compulsory module 3 politics and the rule of law in the new textbook of high school ideological and political integration as an example,this paper focuses on the application strategies of the topic-based teaching in the cultivation of the rule of law literacy.Besides the introduction and conclusion,this paper consists of four parts:The first part introduces the theoretical overview of topic-based teaching and its value in the cultivation of legal literacy.On the basis of defining the concept of topic-based teaching,this paper makes the point that topic-based teaching has the basic characteristics of promoting learning by discussion around topics,combining thinking with practice by activity exploration,and highlighting literacy based by construction and generation.The application of topic-based teaching in the cultivation of legal literacy is conducive to promoting the activation of legal knowledge,enhancing the emotional experience of the rule of law,improving the thinking ability of the rule of law,and exercising the practical ability of the rule of law.The second part,in the form of questionnaire survey,understands the current situation of high school students’ legal literacy,and grasps the implementation of Ideological and political topic teaching in the cultivation of legal literacy.The third part takes the textbook politics and the rule of law as an example to elaborate the topic design strategy of cultivating the rule of law literacy.The topic design should follow the basic principles of discipline,openness,integration and activity,and master the topic selection method of cultivating legal literacy,which can excavate the legal education resources of teaching materials,focus on the hot issues of social law,and select topics from the actual life of students.The fourth part analyzes the organization strategies of topic-based teaching from three aspects: the creation of topic situation,the development and promotion of discussion activities,and classroom evaluation.In the rule of law classroom,we should actively create case-based,speculative and activity-based topic situations,design serialization activities around topics,grasp the basic links of the implementation of argumentation activities,timely summarize and sort out the knowledge of the rule of law,practice topics in combination with social practice activities,exercise the ability to practice the rule of law,enhance the emotion of the rule of law,and establish socialist values of the rule of law.Classroom evaluation should point to comprehensive evaluation of legal literacy,attach importance to process evaluation,and adhere to diversified evaluation.
