Mathematics teaching in secondary vocational school is an organic whole which integrates teachers,students,teaching contents,teaching methods and teaching evaluation,etc.It is of great significance to promote the quality education of secondary vocational school students.In recent years,China's secondary vocational education has developed rapidly,enrollment scale has been expanding,but the quality of students is generally declining,students' cultural foundation is weak,especially the poor foundation of mathematics,lack of confidence and interest in mathematics learning;influenced by traditional teaching concepts,teachers' teaching methods are generally lack of innovation,teaching content and students.There is a serious disconnect between life and specialty,a single way of evaluation,a lack of perfect evaluation mechanism and so on,which directly affects the overall effect of secondary vocational mathematics teaching.As one of the basic courses in secondary vocational education,mathematics has made great efforts in the reform of teaching content and the renewal of teaching methods,but the actual effect is very little.The author hopes that through the investigation of the status quo of mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools and the practical exploration of teaching strategies,the author puts forward the effective teaching strategies summed up in the teaching practice.Firstly,this paper summarizes the research background,significance and methods,and introduces the relevant theoretical knowledge.Secondly,using the data obtained,this paper analyzes the current situation of mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools,and studies the influencing factors.This paper analyzes the existing problems and causes of mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools,and finally puts forward corresponding policy recommendations.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: Firstly,the results of questionnaire survey show that secondary vocational schools still do not attach enough importance to mathematics.Although mathematics is in the status of basic courses,it has not received the same attention as professional courses.Mathematics teachers generally evaluate students' poor mathematical foundation,some students do not want to take math class or even simply skip class.The poor foundation of mathematics learning has become one of the reasons why most of the students choose to study in Higher Vocational schools.Most of the students' mathematical foundation is in the general or poor level.Secondly,the problems of mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools are: the school does not pay enough attention to mathematics teaching,mathematics teaching content and life and professional disconnection,teachers' mathematics teaching methods are not appropriate,teachers' evaluation of students' learning is unreasonable,teachers and students' lack of understanding of mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools,students' poor mathematical foundation and interest is not strong.Thirdly,in order to improve the level of mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools,it is necessary to change the concept of mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools,reform the content and structure of mathematics teaching materials,innovate the teaching mode and methods of mathematics in secondary vocational schools,strengthen the construction and training of mathematics teachers in secondary vocational schools,perfect the evaluation standards and system of mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools,and enhance the students' interest in mathematics learning.Interest and confidence.
