The chemistry curriculum standards for compulsory education(2011-year edition)points out that chemistry courses in compulsory education aim at improving students 'scientific literacy.One of the students ' goals in terms of knowledge and skills is to form some of the most basic chemical concepts through this phase of chemistry learning.Chemical concept is the basis for students to establish chemical knowledge system.Understanding the principle of chemical reaction,observing the phenomena in chemical experiments and analyzing its essence,conducting experimental exploration,and forming the thoughts and methods of chemical learning are closely related to chemical concept.Junior high school chemistry is the enlightenment stage for students to receive systematic chemical knowledge education.Many basic chemical concepts are involved in the textbooks.Concept teaching is an important part of chemistry teaching in junior high school.In the past 6 years,the author found that concept teaching is a major difficulty in the chemistry teaching of junior high school.The students are afraid of the abstractness and high generality of chemical concepts.In the traditional teaching for chemical concepts,teachers often instill a concept into students ' minds by lecturing,memorizing and practicing.This teaching method seems effective in a short time.However,students just carry out a process of rote learning,don 't really understand the essence of chemical concepts.Through literature study and teaching practice,the author found that constructivism theory has important guiding significance for the research of junior high school chemistry concept teaching.Many viewpoints of constructivism are put forward in view of the disadvantages of traditional teaching.It emphasizes that learning is not to put external knowledge into students ' mind,but to construct knowledge actively according to their existing knowledge and experience.In a certain situation,students should carry out high-level thinking activities,constantly discover and solve problems,through consultation and interaction with others.Under the guidance of constructivism,this paper studies the mode and strategy of chemistry concept teaching in junior high school,and realizes the effective teaching of chemistry concept.The research carried out the following process.First of all,through reviewing literature,the author understands and analyzes the research status of chemistry concept teaching and constructivism theory at home and abroad.The author found a large number of front-line teachers,scholars conducted relevant research,research results are rich.I found that a large number of teachers and scholars carried out related research.They had achieved abundant results.But there are still the following problems.The research of chemistry concept teaching method mainly focuses on their own experience.Theory and practice have been separated in some researches.There are few systematic researches on concept teaching under the guidance of constructivism.Next,the author studied the related theories and works of constructivism,combined with teaching practice,discussed how to use constructivism to guide junior high school chemistry concept teaching.On this basis,the research puts forward the teaching mode of junior high school chemistry concept construction: exploring preconception,constructing concepts,understanding and application,reflection and evaluation.In order to effectively realize this teaching mode,the research also discusses the corresponding teaching strategies.Finally,the author took the law of quality conservation and neutralization reaction in junior high school chemistry textbooks published by People ' s Education Press as examples to carry out practical research.The teaching mode and strategy proposed in this research are applied to practical teaching.Compared with traditional teaching methods,the operability and effectiveness of this mode and strategy in teaching are evaluated.The conclusions are as follows :(1)Under the guidance of constructivism,the teaching mode and strategy of junior middle school chemistry concept construction proposed in this proposed are operable and effective,which is helpful to junior high school chemistry concept teaching.(2)Constructivism provides a scientific theoretical basis and direction for teachers to carry out teaching researches.The teaching research based on constructivism is helpful to improve teachers ' professional level.
